aurora okay, so i've been on what seems a never ending hunt to find the original, old school version of "Set you free"/"set me free"/ "setting me free"/etc. U know, it's the song "only love can set you free!" I fell in love with the old school version that Vinylgroover opens with on the Helter Skelter Millenium set. Does anyone know who produced it or how I can get my hands on a copy of it?
Heist N Trance - Set You Free
Theres like a million versions but thats the original

aurora so, i just listened to it, and i guess, it's not the original that i was looking for.... does anyone know which version i'm talking about? it starts off with this beautiful piano intro (the intro's pretty long) and it's got a breaks kinda feel to it...
virus i'd just be a different remix of the n-trance song.. there was at least 10 different official remixes..

adam

smileshot It might be the Force & Styles mix of Set you free that was actually called "Set you free".That has a beat that drops into some synth to piano then vocals. It was never released but some U.K producers have it on dublate.
virus the f & s mix doesnt exactly have what i'd call "a breaks feel"

adam

smileshot It might not be but the Force & Styles mix but it is the oldest happy hardcore one there is?Aurora didn't say breaky he said "Oldschool".

cybersheep Hi.

I think the mix that you want is called "Set u free (1992 white label mix)". Its on the Set U Free CD single, and you can probably get it on Audiogalaxy.

Cheers, Rich.

MC RizlaDizla Brisk does a wikkid remix of this classic tune. Proppa fast, proppa banging stuff.

I've got the orig on vinyl, but left it round me m8's who lives on the other side of the country. Opps!

"Oh whata raver, Whata wikkid MC, witda a badboy D,a,J known as the Trixxy. Where gonna rock ya, just you wait and see, pump, and pick it up, hardcore family."
Jams Does anyone know where i could find the original version by N-Trance on vinyl. I have been looking but had no luck.

"I'm a raver not a crazy drug addict" - MC Storm
MC RizlaDizla Did anyone hear this really good trance version on kiss fm two nights ago? It was DJ mark Elliot, who played it. The vocals were much slower.

"Oh my goodness, Oh my Gosh. Here we go with a badboy rush".
Midway_raver ud be lucky to find teh original on vinyl now:( teh new hard house version is a true insult to the song,it has mashed up with what made teh track good streaming vocals over a phat bl, they took the trak apart n 4got how to put it back 2geva so it sounds shit
