coming from someone who's obviously not been up to san francisco to experience a party there. WAY too many talented djs up there to make this claim.

Lostboy Chris, do you really need to put down everything that has to do with me or Simon? I don't understand why everytime someone posts something on a message board about either of us, or a track we did or anything like that, you have to make a negative remark about it.

Danny

Cloudskipper so is that all of two posts then? i mentioned i didn't like your drowning remix. big deal, accept the fact that there will be critics. i know i'm in the minority, but i have the original 2xlp, i love the original 2xlp, and the stabs in your remix are in a major key and the vocals are in a minor key. that does not work musically. this is why i don't like it, and again, i realize i'm in the minority, but i can still voice my opinion.

second thing. i wasn't critical of you two at all in my post listed above, however, being a dj who's played in both the san francisco and los angeles area multiple times in the past three months (so i'm seeing it first-hand, you're not), san francisco, in my eyes, is the future. phenomenal djs, a ****in wicked crowd every time that's havin it on every track. no disrespecting to you and simon at all, but there are about 10 djs up there who are very talented. i just wanted to shine a light on them because west coast hardcore does NOT reside within just two djs. there's a ton that can be mentioned.

if you deem this post as disrespect, well then that's your problem. i respect both you and simon, i've considered you both as friends for a very long time (although we've had our run-ins). take it as you see it.

Cloudskipper i did forget to mention that i hope your party goes well on saturday. should be a wicked time.

DjMoNkEyBoY Wow guys I'm soory.
I didn't realize I sounded so ignorant.
Cluodskipper for sure you have a very valid point.
San Francisco is the Rave capital of the world. All I meant by West Coast was Socal. Subsonic Underground, Phusion, Majestic, and Underground Culture are the major players down here. I should have included these in my first post. sorry.
I didn't mean to dis or not recognize any supreme hh dj's out there. I know ther is way more talent out there than just Socal. I can't even begin to mention all my favorites from the UK.
But here's the thing.
Socal is where I live. It's the scene I identify with. I want to see this scene flourish. So, this is the scene I represent, and promote for. Lots of respect for all the hh dj's out there. Keep bangin' And if you're in Socal, Bang Harder!
btw Lostboy how can I get a copy of your Drowning remix. I remember you talking about it at "I love Hardcore" a while ago. I would really like to check it out.
Get back to me.

I can't give it out right now because it is a remix and i don't own the rights to it, but hopefully it will be released sometime soon.

Cheers,
Danny

DjMoNkEyBoY Do you know how to host off a webpage, .ra, .ram
As an mp3 file a person can stream. listen but cannot download. Thus the info, and rights are safe.
btw- I ended up giving Matt (Roam promoter) my cd's because my friends never showed up at Roams House at The Caddillac Club. Did he by any chance pass them onto you?
