Am I the only one who can't stand those electric lights? Back in the day we used to party in candlelight...let me tell you, the music sounded better in candelight! *shakes fist*
The only issue I see as a valid point for discussion is the "commercialization" of hardcore. I'd argue that it's a good thing for a few reasons:
-it promotes the entire genre
-it gets people to be more open minded about other styles of hardcore
-it makes producers money...these same people stuck through it in the 90's and it's taken a while but they are now finally being recognized and financially rewarded.
-people still crave the non-commercial hardcore...whether it's 190+bpm or ultra-cheesy...people still want this stuff so newer producers get to fill that niche and get some attention

P.S. 95 is a trollinator.
EDIT: I would also like to comment that it's people like 95 that over-critizise the scene that REALLY kill it: it turns people off to what hardcore is today, loosing support, which would in turn for it to fall off the face of the planet compleatly.
im on cdjs and i dont like you sayin cheap pirate djs >< makes it look like you mean all djs on cdjs are pirates.. i kinda have no choise tho.. go to a club here in the netherlands and you prolly find cdjs instead of TT's
I apologize to all CDJ users as I never meant to imply that your all pirates.

i dont really wanna point the blame but i reckon chavs & pipkeys are killing the scene, but its not really dyeing because there is such a large amount of normal people going LOL!...
95 your fulla shit..ppl over 30 what the hell!! and defiantly with out a doubt clubland is killign the scene as is DJ rankin & Cammy...WHY IS CLUBLAND KILLIGN IT? i hear yo urask..BECAUSE its repetative commercial crap that draws in the chavs to it
i *heart* MC STORM! but i do agree alittle TINY bit about MC's in general i mean its OK when you can understadn them liek on CDs but at a rave i cant understand a god damn word....except when whizzkid is working his verbal magic
well thats my 2 cents ^^

Maybe in a club but not at the raves unless things have changed fast, you cant even buy terror/speedcore on digital i dont think?
I can see cdj's are where it's happening for most things in future though, vinyl sales are really low.
But for the classics and other genres like drum n bass and the HARDcore is a vinyl culture and wont change for a good while or unless we have to.
To be honest cdjays just dont appeal to me one bit, vinyl jus feels better.
But wouldnt mind buyin final scratch or somethin like that.
Anyway whats killin the scene hahahahaha, not a lot by the looks of it.
Plenty of raves for the cheesy uk happy style, and a nice few events for the bangin stuff.

Sorry but i personally think when u play cd you only get half the feeling and experience and u really don't need skillz coz it's so damn easy. Real dj's play Vinyl and the only reason why some top dj's use cd is because it's more comfortable than to carry bags of 12" and half the stuff they play is not released. Ask a proppa dj which one he or she really would prefer? 99,9% say vinyl :)
