Stay on subject please, but that page is a current description of the "raver baby" or trancey hardcore style of hardcore which doesn't have a name at the moment but I don't recommend the name "hardcore trance" and really that page should be deleted.
UK Hardcore is by far the most used name to describe the new UK Hardcore.

Isnt new UK Hardcore called "upfront?"
Doesn't upfront just mean new, I thought the term could be applied to any genre...

Wouldn't Charly Lownoise and Mental Theo be considered pioneers of HHC because they have been putting out records since 1991...

Well, please forgive me. I seemed to have learned something new over the last two days.
For the longest time, I always thought the "Happy Hardcore" was a single DJ or a group of people who produced the music I so lovingly listen to. By going to the link, I have found that Happy Hardcore is more of a.. well lable or an album that consists of AC Slater, Sunrize, Daywalker
Alkivar
AMS
Anabolic Frolic
Blümchen
Cloudskipper
CLSM
Hattrixx
DJ Brak
DJ CandyKid
DJ Hixxy
DJ Seduction
DUNE
Entropy
Matt Positive
Noahphex
Oli G
Scott Brown
Spree
Starr & Sixxx
Tilzs
Venom
White Russian.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Also... that kind of makes it hard to find out who did my favorite tracks.
I know that DJ Liquid did "Angel" (Which I love that track).
Who did "Shooting Star" and "Castles in the Sky"?

most of those are djs, and for future reference how bout you don't download your music off p2p sites. if you do a little research you can find out who did every song.
btw liquid makes trance, not hardcore

Lots of discuss, great stuff, any progress on getting this done? Anyone want to put their hand up as the person in charge of this?

So you know, DJ Liquid is JUST AN DISC JOCKEY.
Most tracks "by" DJ Liquid, DJ Epic and DJ Mystic are alll misslabeld because of the site they first came from (a trance site from california callled Hypnotika).
kinda funny cause alot of ppl think DJ Liquid actually made that "Can't Stop Raving" track which is made by Dune :P
anywyas, at the moment, I dont know who made Angel, but I can say that DJ Liquid - Liquify (the CD Angel and Cant stop Raving appears on) is a good mix, too bad theres no proper copy of it that was downloadable (since the mix was free)
sorry for my "off-topic" ranting, but I just had to tell this

Dante, You don't know "shooting star"??? Bang! is the artist's name. As for pioneers, I feel Anabolic Frolic brought Hardcore out of it's shell with Moonshine and all that! Now it's like "Bonkers" (which I still feel is still pretty underground) and "This is Noise"... Upfront is a common term there's a magazine called Upfront and it's not specific to Hardcore. Someone from the UK who acctually Produces/DJs/Raves would be better than the US/Canada... I don't know I found hardcore threw H2bH back in 2002... So I have to search for info. Also I'm not a good writer. Just Graf!
