You should recommend some CD for me, i'm getting way too narrow gabber dose from the Rumour Cd's and the odd few tracks on Bonkers CD's.
I want something "new", so that the CD could still be easily bought. Recent tracks ive liked (does not really have to be something like these, but just post them to give some idea what ive liked):
Evil Activities feat DJ Panic & MC Alee "Bigger Than Ever"
Paul Elstak feat Dione "Here Comes The Prozac"
Nosferatu "Have It Your Way"
The Playah "**** Tha Fame"
Neophyte & Evil Activities "Alles Kapot"

Any compilation come to mind?
wel, I like the latest in the demolition series (part 5). It contains a variety of core with lots of third movement like d-passion n promo (very hard and industrial), some more mainstream (tommyknocker, evil activities, masters of ceremony) and a bit of darkcore (ophidian).
U could also just buy some thunderdomes, should still b avalable although i must say that I was a bit let down by the "malice to society" one but thats cuz I'm too picky :), it's got good stuff and it's not a bad cd and lots of ppl like it, all the other thunderdomes of the new generation were quite good. Hellraiser cd's are good, if ur into mainstream (outblast, paul, neophyte and the likes) u could also just buy some of the "masters of hardcore" series.
there is so much variation in what is here conviniantly called gabber that I really don't know what else to advise. I'd say check out www.vinylshop.com and if u want to hear samples u can check www.sector-1.com.
just look around n see if u like something :)

'gabba' as its called here is actully bigger than hardcore.
in amasterdam where myself and a few other dj's travel to all the time, they have raves (gabba only) where there are 25,000 people.
when you consider that the sanctuary pulled 4000 per event... 25,000 pisses all over it.
Gabba isnt about lovey dovey vocals, its about how savage a kick can get.
The harder the better, the darker the better.
Dione, Promo, D-Passion... all producers that excel in production skill. Infact... I rate them more than the top hardcore dj's.
And scott brown's gabba isnt even that hard.. you wouldnt hear a single scott brown tune all night at a gabba rave... its too cheesy. Its watered down to please the cheesier uk crowds.
Hardcore, Its Everything That I Stand For.

the examples u've given could be viewed from another point of view aswel as dione, promo and d-passion often venture into industrial hardcore aswel as the mainstream stuff.
the parties you're talking about aren't always 25000ppl although the peak that I've heard was during the 90's at the mysteryland a total of 65000 ppl attended of which at least 40000 gabbers.
Today raves indeed can draw crowds like 25000 (like the masters of hardcore raves sometimes do) but it's not always the case.
biggest I went to was 8000 heads, but that wasn't in holland
