...why i haven't been able to get on here since late friday night. i kept getting 'you are not authorised to view this page' wtf is up with that?

For some reason google has decided to cache the crap out of the site effectively DoSing the site... And I'm talking about 500+ crawlers at the same time... it's like WTF?

Donations for bigger servers would be helpful since I can't even afford rent this month :s

I had to throttle the bandwidth, temporally ban google and take the events system offline and they are still caching... shesh!

Routing problems was causing the site to slow down and google ontop really killed it, I had been battling with it for a few days, until I actually managed to fix it up... fingers crossed.

things are geting back to normal, put simply the site is getting alot of access, so much so that it is maxing out our sustained bandwidth, we have had to take out a new dedicated chunk of bandwidth for the site just to keep up with traffic, if you were thinking about donating now we really need it as it costs a big amount to run the site per month now :)
