What about hardcore classics? That got to number 2 in the charts and that had no sexual appeal in it. Just good advertising.

Hardcore Classics did have a lot of TV advertising however, which must have cost Ministry of Sound quite a lot of money, and the fact is MoS is a far bigger company I'm presuming than AATW (Clubland X-treme Hardcore series) and Slammin' Vinyl, so they could distribute Hardcore classics more, so more of the major retailers would sell it

I buy cd's based on the music that they contain, not the fact that theres a girl in a bikini on the front. Yes, sex does sell and i'm guessing that the record companies are trying to broaden the fan base of hardcore by appealing to the club music scene, or the R&B scene, which the majority of young people are part of (in Australia anyway)...

While i dont approve of using sex to sell records, i can see the point of view of the record companies.

I think Hixxy is one of the best hardcore djs/producers there is, my fav Hardcore track, Wanting to Get High is by him and Sharkey, I like loads of his old stuff not so much of his new stuff but I would NEVER slag off Hixxy like he was my ex-girlfriend who means the world to me, and Hixxy means the world to Hardcore!

I don't think there's anything wrong at all with the cover of HH3, it's shitloads better than HH2's cover... that girl looked... well weird!

So what, we have a Hardcore CD that has a fit girl on the front of it in a bikini, and the Clubland Extreme Hardcore series does aswell, but really, WHO CARES! why bother getting all upset about it? The music is still the same as it would be if there were little cartoon sprites running around on the cover, and that's all that matters

Because its not original in any way what so ever, want some individuality to the covers, although you probz say it not original to have animated covers for a hardcore cd i agree but the like of hardcore heaven 1 and 2 covers were fookin awesome and stood out easily on the shelf, the chicks dont, you lukin along the shelf at hmv you thinkin to yaself 'minge, minge, breast, minge aha! wot a cover! hardcore heaven!

Basically i want hardcore covers to be differnt, although you probz going to say why do they need to be different? not a clue! just want em to be

They should have them with covers in the styles of Hardwired and Next-Gen Vol 1&2&3. I didn't mind the cartoons really, they were gotten rid of because they looked childish but tbh they were part of the bonkers series. The attempt to be more grown up for the Bonkers 15 cover was cringeworthy, the fact it tried to be grown up and made it even more childish was embaressing.

As for the semi-naked ladies, I'm not really arsed. But, I still rather they were in the styles of Hardwired, it looks far better.
