Are pretty girls better than cartoons?

I would guess its a more adult look than the cartoons.

The purpose of a CD cover is as an advert. Its there to catch your eye. nothing catches your eye like a pretty girl in a bikini (if your a bloke of course lol). Come on, how many people have cast a sly eye over the RnB compilations as they were passing them ;-)

Oh ok then, its just me then *blush*

I agree, Fishy, the cartoons are better than half naked girls! Well not in real life but if I see a girl in her underpants on a CD I think 'Must be a club CD' but when I see a cartoon I think 'Hardcore'

And who says the cartoon girl on Hardcore Nation 2 wasn't pretty?

The Bonkers has the best Cartoons! Oh and which month in 1996 was Bonkers 1 relesed?

Evel you really are starting to piss me off, DMS is right, you talk abut hardcore like it is a statement! The reason yu get in a strop over raverbaby is because they are mainstream hardcore and thats what most people hear, you dont give a **** abotu the fact it isn't your style, its because you know thats what people view hardcore as and you don't like it.

I don't know how you dare moan about Hixxy, you are lucky he makes music at all, how can you start bitching because he doesn't make music how you like it, if you were that bothered you'd go and find music you did like, but no, you ****ing winge because a mainstream DJ doesn'y make the stuff you like anymore and people are associating you with his stuff...

My message to you is, stop worrying about what other people think and enjoy the music, if people think it club music.. so what? If you dont like it don't ****ing listen get something you do like, and stop acting like Hixxy etc have a responsibility to you to make music you like, just think yourself lucky that he has made music you can appreciate!

rant over..

I'm a bit gutted about the 'sex sells' policy that hardcore seems to be following recently. I may be wrong about this, and the 'sex sells' may have been around for a while but it seems that the album producers are just following the success of R&B and Commercial dance among other genres that everyone is sex-driven and only buy stuff that has sex written all over it.

These people have decided that the main target audience of their album are men, and probably think of us as low intelligent 'chavs' if you must that see a half naked woman and think that alone means the album is good, and we must buy it. To be perfectly honest I think that this probably will increase sales and therefore they will have succeeded in maximising profit, but I'm a bit gutted that this is how advertising and marketing works, as a whole, these days when it comes to music, and well, everything.
