I actually agree on that..and then it would be cool if it will be b2b..
Just 2 dj's that will mix something, and later put it together into one mix.
But first we need to decide which dj's will do the other 3 discs..
If Darwin still wants to join there are already 2 discs given away.
For now, dont talk to many shit about the new-comer cd, that mix competition will be here for sure!
And next to Darwin there are already 2 newcomers that will do a cd..so.

all premixed mixes FREE for everyone to download... then have UNMIXED tracks seperate to this for a fee, so what if it ends up on a download site, that will always happen whatever you do, what it does mean though is that for the people who do pay, the artists will get a bit of money even if it is just pocket money, and dj's get some unreleased tracks
Yeah that's doable. I'm sure the's quite a few of us that are in a postion to approch more or less all of the digital download sites (between us) and get them to agree to take the tracks. No one's gonna say no to a dozen well publishised tracks being put out.

I'm sure No Left Turn and I would be up for doing a mix if one needed to be done, I'm just not sure about what kind of stuff would be on it since the two of us are so damned picky. Heh.
Also another question, will the mixes be given out for free then afterwards ALL of the tracks be given away for free? Or what exactly is the standing situation with tracks? (I don't mind giving them away for free as my other topic shows!)
And yes, I MEANT "North American' when I said "American".. it would be wrong to exclude those crazy canucks and (if there are any) any mexican hardcore folk.

Someone needs to step up and start calling the shots already.
My first suggestion would be to designate someone to recieve all demos/mixes, then from there narrow it down to about 5-10 DJs. Start a poll thread with all the mixes hosted and download links on there and let the forums vote who they think deserves to mix the CD. Be sure to set deadlines for everything mind you.
Then once the DJ has been selected all you producers can start sending him/her the tracks to be mixed.
If you need a place to host the mixes talk to either me or JaXoN and maybe we can host them on the happyhardcore ftp server.

I just dont want this to be another one of those great ideas gone stagnant where everyone does nothing but ask questions and come up with new ideas but never does anything.
Joren good to see you on top of things.
Bugbear: they were just suggestions
