dont get me wrong just cos im not a big fan of sharkys musik or your not spex doesnt mean the rest of the world should suffer just bcos you hate sum 1s musik but to hate it that much to wish that person was dead! man u got big issues ans i think u really need to sort your head about b4 wishin ppl were dead!

Taking Sharkey off Bonkers is like refusing a Hardcore event to take place at the Sanctuary in Milton Keynes........ forever!! And that would be a tragedy.
1, Sharkey kicks feckin arse, and 2, he's mr bonkers!!!! Its only right that he stays as it gives the perfect blend between all three mixes. Bonkers is perfection at its hardcore best!

What's the problem ? Both Scott, Hixxy and Sharkey are great DJ's. How come people can't like them all ? Even though one of the mixes are not as great as the others, it's not a reason to hate the DJ.

You don't lock a topic because it's annoying that is just abusing admin / mod powers... People are still discussing the topic, or in this case want to show support to Sharkey.

I'm from Glasgow, & I know that Sharkey is a regular at most of the local events. I know that Scott Brown is a personal friend of Sharkey. I know that I have never heard of Spex (or 'DJ' Spex). I know that people want to show support to Sharkey, but I think the best way is to close this thread & keep an eye on Spex's future activity.
I think there may be some trouble with his future posts as he is a sad deluded 18/19 year old who has only accquired his records from an older family member who has probably moved on either musically or physically ( moved out his parents' home).
Please let it be known -
1. Sharkey is a well respected DJ within the Glasgow area.
2. I beleive Spex is a little boy with the use of his Mum, Dad or even friend's computer & has not even so much as stepped into an event, never mind played a set.
3. If Spex does grow up within the next few years, there will be no way any promoter in the Glasgow area would consider even listening to a demo (I'm sure that most have been informed about him now).
4. That's all.

I know for one thing if you brought the whole bonkers crew to my city,
sharkey would be the favorite by soooooooooooooooooooooooo far its not funny, then followed by scott brown, then followed by the local Djs that played that night (not my personal opinion, but my town dont like happyhardcore)
sharkey can always come and live here if people dont like him anywhere else hehehe but im gathering everyone except spex likes him :D

Sharkey is the shiz.
The thing about it is, his music/mixes grow on you. Its not as instantly approchable as other hardcore. When I first got into hardcore (all those years ago :) ) (Bonkers 3) I liked Dougals mix the most... thought Hixxys mix was okay... but didn't really like Sharkeys mix.
But I got tired of those two mixes quite quickly... and started listening to Sharkeys mix ... and started liking it more and more!
until I really liked it! (best choons on that mix IMHO are "Back to the top" and "Rock the beat", both Brisk & Trixxy)
I guess its because its not as musically predictable as it might be so your brain doesn't figure it all out so quickly...
But it really grows on you! and the upside of not being instantly approachable is it seems to be interesting for longer! u can play the same CD more often and notice new things all the time.
Keep doing what you're doing sharkey!

Ok im a bit late posting this but im just wanting to say i am from close to glasgow and theres nothing wrong with english and americans there some of the main people who give us our hardcore and sharkey is the greatest i mean if he wasnt about we may not have ever got bonkers so stop dissin and grow up.
