I just had a thought for the vinyl DJs I know there is not necessarily a way for them to know exactly what speed they are playing at. So just to clarify for those people you don't have to stick exactly to the end speed just be around that area. Just so if the next person wants to come in and play UK hardcore at say 175 - 160 BPM they're not starting from 200 BPM with a very high-pitched track.
Don't worry too much about speed accuracy as long as you're close. I'll wait until Sunday to see exactly what speed people want. I want to make it as easy as possible for everyone involved.

I'm currently struggling with the same issue but I feel that 30 minutes is a good compromise. I believe limits encourage creativity. 30 minutes might encourage someone to attempt a transition that they normally wouldn't do to squeeze their final track in.

Sorry I missed your second question I was half asleep when I read it. From the time I send you your section to mix in to you have 5 days to send me your finished segment. Apart from over Christmas and new year where people can get extra time if they need it. However the quicker each person gets their bit done the quicker we can get it completed.

I start in 2001 and go to 2015 but the 2015 track is not like what the mainstream were putting out at that time.

I have got the perfect segment it really works however I can?t squeeze it in to 30 minutes. So slight rule change you can go a bit longer than 30 minutes also don?t Forget the time starts when you start mixing in your first track and ends when you finish mixing in your last track don?t count your last track to your time limit. I?m adding an extra 5 minutes to my segment.

Well I was gonna go from 1994 to 2019 lol, so trying to cram it in 30 minutes isn't going to be easy.
Feel free to go over by five minutes if you need to I tried everything possible to get my mix length down but even after doing and cutting as much as I could it's still going to be about 35 minutes.
If this goes well I would in future like to do more and perhaps do a hardcore history style thing but where it is actually in date order. Each DJ would choose a year or multiple years to cover and we could then build a mix going through the years and styles of hardcore.
Just an idea
