hi all, i was jsut wondering is there actually anybody in illinois (USA) who is into hardcore?...ive just moved over from england and this place is dead! lol
im in a city called Peoria...
so, anybody out there, im getting kinda worried, everytime a car go's past there always playing 80s/90s/20s rock shite, me and my wife seem to be the only ones jettin round listening to hardcore loud!!.
anyway, is there anybody around here? - I brought all my DJ equiptment with me and my vinyl collection - theres gotta be someone out there who is "electronically minded" looking to meet some new people!

Peoria! I'm sorry, mate! But the good news is that there are indeed some hardcore nutters in Illinois. I live in the Chicago area, a few hours from you.

I know of a few hardcore dj's in your area, just keep your eyes and ears open for them. I believe one goes by Elekid and the other by Manny.

if you mind me asking, why did you move from the UK to Illinois?
I live in Califorina (quite a ways away) dispite the fact that this place is somewhat active in the techno scene, but it's all Trance and House (which arent bad, but id rather prefer Hadrcore) i try to do what i can to bring Hardcore even more respect in this area...... sorry, im dozeing off again

i moved to illinois because thats where my wife is from, we originally tryed to get her a visa to stay in britian (she was over in britian when we got married in scotland dec 24th 2002), but the visa fell through. So then we flipped it round and i moved over here - right when hardcore started to kick off again in britian (just my luck, id been waiting for the revolution to come - and i bloody missed it lol). wilst she was in britian i introduced her to the dance scene and took her clubbing (her first time at 20 years old lol) and from then on she was completly converted, she ditched her Matchbox twenty and Foo fighters and became a DJ, we make quite a team lol. - we had all our gear/vinyl shipped across from britian, it took 9 weeks!! and when it got here our mixer was broke - it should be back from repairs soon - hopefully
