Hi everyone,
Just curious—do you ever go back and play older games even with all the new ones coming out? I’ve been doing that lately and honestly, it feels different in a good way. The gameplay is simple, but still really fun and sometimes even more challenging than modern games.
One thing I’ve noticed though is that getting these older games to run properly can take a bit of effort. Sometimes it’s just settings, but other times it’s about having the right files or setup. While trying to figure this out, I ended up learning a bit more about how these systems actually work behind the scenes, and I came across https://ps2biosonline.com/ which explains some of those basics in a simple way. Do you guys prefer sticking with new releases, or do you also enjoy going back to classics from time to time? And if you do, what’s your favorite one?

Yes, recently started playing through the original Baldur's Gate again. Also dig out old consoles to play with my son from time to time, have loads of classic games.

what a very dubious website.
Not to mention that the OP's text is talking about 3 different things to promote the website.
Use on your own risk, as Sony usually take these website down if they are actual bios files.

I still go back to old games when I hang out with friends, such as Halo 2 and 3, Mario Kart Double Dash/64, Mario Strikers and even Blades of Steel. At home I still sometimes play them but now I am playing mostly remakes such as Final Fantasy VII

i recently discovered a thing called EmuVR basically a retro front end but you can actually play in a bedroom from the 90's with old CRT TV's and all the old consoles are modeled etc it's really cool, i play my old PS1 games through it and it really is like being back in the 90's/early 00's
you can even put music and their album covers too, so i have all my old bonkers CD's etc all labeled
