I dont think so, but you can see the time of their last post. Anyway there are some features on this site that are only for members, so people may register for other reasons then forums. Also for example many finnish people read forums that are in foreignlanguages, but dont write there (for example "active topics" and member profiles cant be seen without registering). Some may have been "active" members long time ago, but dont read/write much anymore.

People sign up because they want to be part of the hardcore community they might be newbies and just want to read, plus there are other sections of the site that require membership, so there is no hard and fast rule that once you register you have to post.
There is no doubt we will hit 10,000 members, my prediction was the end of Jan, but due to Christmas things have slowed a little, might be the first week in Feb, we will see... We get about 350+ new members every month.
We are a little strict on posts here (I have to admit) but we try to maintain an information resource and not a forum bombing zone, USH (second biggest hardcore site in the world) might have only half the members we have but 10 times the posts just tells me there is a lot of crap posted there and that they could trim 90% of the fat if they wanted to :) (The site is the biggest hardcore site in the world in case anyone didn't already know :) )
Yep it's gonna be a big day for hardcore when we reach 10,000 members, there aint many sites in general out there that can say that.
We are starting emailing thingys (I wont tell you exactly what that it is yet), one of the things is of course is a newsletter, it should remind people that have registered for the site and forgotten about it to come and have another look to see what is happening in the world of hardcore.

yeah for defo, as i was saying newbies here get welcomed, there are so many unread threads on ush, or threads with no replies at all, theres very little of that here. and the amount of bollox chat is unbelievable (thou i wud like a waffle forum just so i dont feel so guilty about my own insignificant shit chatting :-) lol
As for the awards the USH crew is hugely british, very patriotic (and rather intimidating) and so it was prolly a lot more important to their members that they got the prize - not that they deserved it!!

I like the cosmopolitan nature of this board (check my big word!) and I like the more sedate pace. I can actually keep up here.
USH is a brilliant forum though. For us in the UK anyhow and the Waffle section cracks me up.

For the hardcore heaven awards we were the only site that DID NOT email all their members (some sites multiple times) to vote for them, we asked people to vote for the site they think is the best in the world. I actually wanted it to be a fair thing but as things go it was wasn't. The hardcore heaven crew did tell me that USH just won by one or two votes so go figure...
Looks like we will break it in Jan.

I too was bombarded with E-mails for my vote, Except from hhc.com, I voted hhc.com anyway, because it's definatly the hardcore site I use the most by FAR!
