I'd say that spinning vinyl is much more fun than cdj's (tryed both).
And for the mp3/wav thing, it would probably be a lossless compression format like AAC (the format iTunes uses).

To answer a few points, yes it would have to be a compressed format like AAC or whatever else is around (I've heard rumours of some awesome compression formats on the way!).
Also, as they were legal downloads they would be provided by the record companies and so would be very good quality.
So, it looks like CDs are still the preferred choice still over the whole online format..... interesting

Well I use all 3 on a daily basis at home and when im on air.. As long as i have everything connected to a commie im happy.
