I know this has got nothing what so ever to do with music right.......but i thought it would bring some interesting views to light.

Everyone of you must of seen a modified vehichle sometime in your lives.....even if it was on fast n the furious (1 or/and 2)

Anyways if you know a car modifier or "boy racer" then i bet they are always complaining about being pulled by the fat men in blue!

I was just wondering why coppers take such pride in pulling a boy racer, you dont see them pulling the volvos do you.....there could be a volvo, with 50 bullet holes in it, a dead body hanging out of the back, doing a million miles per hour through a small village, and a boy racer sticking to the speed limit doing nothing wrong.........which do they pull? the boy racer! y?!?

Although more and more people are not associating boy racers with speeding and crime, but seeing it more as a hobby amongst young and old people.....films such as fast n furious and games like need for speed underground help to show this....

Sure you get the odd dick in a nova hooming round doing handbrake turns.....but this cant be helped....wot do you peeps think?

Ill leave you with this catch phrase......"Oi Copper....Cruising Is Not A Crime!"

Keep it real

Check one, two were the bad boy krew, cream of the crop!

lololol lots of original and shockingly embarrasing boy racers in my area, think they r cool cus they drive about stopping off at different car parks and tokin about cars - well i guess its up to them where they drive and how loudly they choose to play their celine dion and clubland 2004 super clubbers rule the world special cds but hell, when i get a car i plan to go further than the car parks i am capable of walking to at current... lmao, i just dont get why spinner boys do that, the whole point of driving is to drive somewhere.... not just go round roundabouts....

I don't mean to dissagree with HIMG2k2 here at all, but i do agree with Kate's comment :) I've never had any interest in driving whatsoever though, i'll only start driving when i need to really, i'd only otherwise start if i had alot of money. I can totally understand why other people like it though :)

most of the time the boy racers are people that arn't endearing,
smart or funny, so they have to find other ways
to try and impress people. then there is the small part of them (my self included) that build them to race, legally on actual race tracks
none of that street racing crap.
which has caused alot of deaths and accidents ,
because of this many police have started pulling them over
constantly so these boy racers know that cops
won't take any more crap.

it hasn't got to the point where coppers pull u over for no reason down here YET, my mate has reciently got him self a 99' model RZ supra ( http://www.ozsupra.qld.org/sale/ozsupra2.htm ) and he has only been pulled over in a random breath test...
Re y they pull over worked cars, from words with a friend of mine who is a police officer "if u got that much $$$ to spend on a car and u are 20ish and according to our records u are unemployeed....there is a good chance u are dodgy" i am not sure wether the police are linked to the tax office and government benefits system over there or not but they are over here.
The Department of Transport in conjunction with police sometimes have a crack down on cars in regards to height, wings etc etc etc but that is maybe twice a year...
looks like when i get to the UK i will be driving a 50cc scooter...over here we have enuf room in industralia estates in the middle of bush to go where there are no coppers and most importantly no other cars, people or heven forbid children. dickheads who hoon around housing should have there lift nut lopped off with a cigar cutter if u ask me...it is just asking for trouble
OUT
GregE
PS my mate does have a job, aint on the doll and has taken to spending a lot of quite nights at home infront of the TV instead of drinking hehehe

I EAT KANGEROOS!!!

The 'boy racers' who just speed around doing handbrake turns etc... give the scene a bad name... It's all about gettin a heap and doin it up and modifying it so that it looks as good as it can perform. It's alos a chance to show the world your style (not coolness style but personal preference on how things should look) and feel good that people are apreciating something you have done. I regularly go on cruises. Most often I drive up to scotland and go cruisin up there (best Place). I was at the last Strath Clyde Cruise and it was awsome. hundreds of cars and thousands of people. And there was tons of cops there too but the only work they did was to tell a couple of people to turn down there stereos (i was one) and that was it. At a true cruise its about the cars and driving with the tunes out loud..

Thats my say.

Jealous of a riced up nova? Get real ;)

I'm sure there are some sensible racers out there who's reputation is ruined by the people I've seen. The ones I've seen deserved to be pulled over, as 99% of them break the law in some way or another. If you think you are one of the sensible ones, blame the pricks they drive around in riced up 1.2 nova's.. you'll find them by the shaking body work and laughter of the people on the streets.

yeah right. a nova with a v6. impossible. the mounting brackets couldnt take the stress or the weight. let alone the engine mounts being able to take the vibration.. it'd fall to pieces.... plus 1 major thin. the engine would be to big.

i had already said it would be too big. and dude. A short block in an impreza. It's capable of so much more... You could but a low mid sec block in and be able to get more power to as long as you put a dif right on the and of the gear assembly.
