i got the slammin NYE tape pack yesterday and it's wicked! was good to listen back to the sets again .... memories from the night were a bit patchy

lol, i've just put the 1st CD in... Hixxy & Scott Brown... i like the intro with the voices from Let the Beat Drop, Hardcore Hustler & Definition of a Badboy...!

it was either get the cd's for £20 or the tapes with a dvd for about "25 - and i hate tapes... Is the DVD any good?

i don't have a DVD in mine, it's just a standard 12 tape pack. there's 3 or 4 different versions that got released though i think...... oh, and the MC u were after on the other thread is deff Whizzkid.

yea, i've just noticed on Slamminvinyl.com that there's about 4/5 versions...
I had an option of 2 from my local shop - PHOENIX:
SV 8 pack with 2 cd's & dvd (£25)
SV 6 cd pack(£20)
so i went for the cd's because i hate tapes...
(i know it's Whizzkid - he shouted about himself when Hixxy came on! -lol)
Why did Hixxy do an Old-Skool set for? It was bad i thought and spoilt Scott's mix... And now i've got Sy's on and it rocks!

Perhaps cos he wanted to treat the crowd to some proper hardcore for a change?!?!?
I just bought bonkers 1 2 and 3 for twenty quid at virgin megastores:D quality bargain!!
Also just bought OH3, very very very disapointed other than the old skool cd. It seems that it is just aimed at getting clubbers into hardcore, if it is it works cos all my mates like it and they didn't even no it was hardcore till i told em, well the tracks like Be Cool and SUnrize etc:S

This was the first OH3(USH3) I could find so i thought id post here....
Is it just me or is some of the stuff on the 3rd CD slowed down???
I've got most of the songs on other cd's and didnt think they were that slow...For example ,Eruption-Let the music on Hixxy's Mix bonkers 1 is played at a decent speed ,Or maybe thats just hixxy's speedy mixes :D....
So...Is it just me or has anyone else noticed this?
And on the other cd's on one of the songs i heard like little bangs in the background of it..If you listen closely in some parts,Has anyone else noticed that either???
Anyone this cd is too tranced out...Trancy hardcore is ok ,But this seems TOO trancy.... I thought Stompy could do better!

Yeah some trakcs on the 3rd CD are DEFINETLY slooooooooooowed down, i though ti was just used to hearing them pitched up on tape packs but i put other cd's on and they are slowed down to **** on this CD,
Secondly i thought the 'bangs' you were on about was just Dougal struggling to mix Fly With You in and out, might be wrong tho!!

LOL, Dougal struggling to mix...Dougals a mint DJ ,I dont think he would be struggling...It was in another song's breakdown in the background ,Heck knows what it was but i thought i was trippin ,hahaha jus kiddin :P
