There is lots of new blood knocking around. Just look around at all the fresh faces starting to come up the ranks. HHC.com's own Oli G for instance. Theres loads of good unsigned talent knocking around too thats just waiting for a break. I could name half a dozen off the top of my head (but I'm not going to coz they'd only get big headed! heh). And theres loads of labels springing up too. Its not as bad as your making out. geez

I think the bigger issue if you read Fade's text, is that hardcore is trying to move on from the past (Hardcore got away with a lot of legalities that if any other bigger genre were to try, they would be pounced upon), and that means that things need to change within the scene.
Anyway, Fade will be sorely missed in my oppinon one of my favourite producers! Loved most of his stuff on Silk Cuts & Next Generation.
One song for me that the name Fade always brings to mind is the remarkable "Fade & Bananaman - Dreams Suprise"
He's certainly given a lot to the hardcore scene, and deserves at almighty amount of respect for that alone!!!

Yes it sucks that Fade is gone, but he was (and still is) one of the good guys. I was talking a a friend of mine, who left the secene becasue he was sick of kick drums and so on, and he was also sad to see Fade go, but at the same time, look what he left behind. (Ok, I know that was a run on sentence.) He left us with some great tracks. He was with us for 11 years. He stuck with it though hard times and the good times. He was a huge part of the secne and he will be missed, but he left us with great things. We do need new tallent, tallent that knows about change and evolution. Electronic music is always changing, and well, if it dosen't, it will die. I hope to be working on some tracks in the future, and well, anyone who I have ever listened to has inpired me to make them. Thanks to Fade, he will be missed, but also thanks for everything you did, and thanks for being one of the good guys in hardcore, as silver said it so long ago "there are alot of twats in hardcore" thanks for not being one fade.

it's not like he's going because the scene's dying or anything. he was one that stuck about from the beginning. respect to him for everything he's done for the scene - he will be seriously missed
on topic, it's not a good thing when the big boys retire but at least there's space for the up and comers at raves when they do go. and its the fresh talent that keeps the scene alive

Yep indeedy, maximum respect to the man! Whenever I see the name Fade on a record I always pick it up coz I know its gonna be quality!
I never met the guy personally, but I was talking with a guy after an industry seminar a couple of years ago who used to engineer for Fade, and he had nothing but praise for the guy.
DJ Fade is a name that will be missed, but never ever forgotten amongst the scene.

He's the second person to leave in a couple of years(Him and Fracus..The F people :|..And DNA :(.. )
The scene isnt suddenly going to collapse because someone left (Although Fade was a really good producer with some great tracks,Under-rated and a part of the scene ,which will be missed :(....)
Their is PLENTY of upcoming talent ,The scene wont stop :)

aint it just, good for him, he deserves a lot of respect... and as Underloop said there are a lot of new faces about, although it may be difficult to break into the scene all it takes is to try and deepest respect to those who do.... what we need is a talent scout!!!

i have a mass amount of respect for DJ Fade - his tunes were always awesome. I feel as if the hardcore scene is falling apart, it sucks :( but you can't blame him for quitting - hes been around for ages. Respect to the Fade :)
