Ive been MCin in my bedroom for 2 years now, My Ol Mum & Dad dont have a fekin clue wot im doin? They think im mad shoutin at the wall all day!!
They aint sure what the turntables in my bedroom are for and if they knew what a rave was? well?
My girls mum on the other hand, knows everythin about what we get up 2 but shes alot younger than my parents but is very sound about it.
The worst thing is when your told what your doin is harmfull or damaging to yourself or society, what you do to your own body is your desision-End of story!! Yes we eat pills, some snort coke etc. etc. then dance the night away, thousends of people do this every weekend. This has been happening for so long now, how much harm are we doin? The world hasnt ended yet!
And we gota put up with that, whats the alternitive? get pissed. Yer thats nice and after a few stellers we all know how violent people get. For fu*ks sake people beat other people to deth because they were pissed. I can think of 2 occasions in 2K3, in huddersfield where poeple were killed in an alcohol fuled situation and thats just hudds, i wonder about barnsley, bradford and leeds.
And as for Rap & some DnB, the rude boy crews that follow are a f-in discrace to society and we get the same dirty lable, something vey wrong with society today.

i agree with you, Kate. When did they lose contact? They (parents) are just lost in their own little world with their "Classic Hits" playing over and over!
And people sometimes say to me about turning my music down! I'll have my music up as f****** high as i want! And it's not senseless banging, you jut need to listen to a bit more than what vibrates through the floorboards!!!
Anyway, people often say to me to turn my stupid music off... It's not right apparently. They say to get original music like Rock... But that came from the USA anyway.
(nothing against the Americans... Just getting my point across about the fact that Rock came from America mainly and isn't English!)

see i have my own place and the walls between me n my neighbour are 2 breeze blocks thick n there cavity filled sooooo HAHAHa i blast out tunes till i fall asleep.. best thing is.. where i live there all posh but because i listen to this music they darent tell me otherwise i.e. turn it down cos they think im nasty or sumet.... labeling... but thats the posh lot through n through.

all you'll have to do is look back at what you did and think about what your perants did /didn't let you do and make your own judgements about it... But i dont think any ravers would make that bad of parents. It's hard enough for us sometimes having our music played, so i think in time we'll understand others more...

Parents just as bad as news papers, my mum and dad have been known to have a toke or 2, they buy shitty homegrown stuff whenever they can and get ripped off!!
I toke every day, get very fine skunk and dont hide it from my parents.
Do my parents know i smoke weed? yes, will they get there weed off me? NO, why? cus they dont dair tell me they do it!
They just go on like they never do it and tell me not 2do drugs!

my parents hated my music
but since I moved out when they hear it it reminds them of me... hell my mum even bought some hard dance CD's and shes 50+ years old! 
as for ignorant old farties slagging off our taste they most likely listen to classical fm with sounds of the honey monster with gut pains and farting down a violin string.
