I've been thinking of buying the whole collection of the Happy2bHardcore series for ages. Just wondering what other people think of them.
There's a new Happy2BHardcore CD coming out soon and its going to be a special one cause it was taken from a live set that was done by Anabolic Frolic. I don't know the exact release date yet but i'll keep you posted.

glad you asked, i was wondering what these CD series was about too! are they american CDs?
I'm still trying to get the whole bonkers collection... I need 1, 2, 4, 67, 9 and 10... and by the time i get them I'll probably get 12.
but i won't collect these happy2bhardcore ones until i know if they are good or not..
as for thunderdome, no chance... there's about 30 of them and there over-rated.

They were/are released by Moonshine, which is an American label. They were all mixed by Anabolic Frolic, who is Canadian.
They all have some great tracks on them. The mixing isn't great, in fact it's pretty shit on some of the earlier chapters.
I would seek out the Bonkers CD's before I got the H2BH.

Hey,
I own a couple of the Happy 2b Hardcore series, and i must say i thought it was a good investment. But i guess compared to the Bonkers CDs u guys are talking about (which still i must have to listen to since ive read great reviews on them) but anyways, yea for being American CDs, i must say they were worth the money. But i guess since you guys are use to the Bonkers series, this is pretty much a joke.

According to moonshine there is no Happy2BHardcore live album coming (or any other album planned for a while), it is just something Frolic is doing by himself I believe. I can't see him be able to use the Happy2BHardcore name so not sure what is going on there. Frolic never returns email either.

**from a CD description on Frolic's site**
Wow! This is possibly the best quality recording ever put out by Hullabaloo. It features a dry-run of multitrack recording technology being tested out for a forthcoming Happy2bHardcore "live" album.
Maybe Frolic owns the rights to the name?

I phone Frolic and talked to his wife, Moonshine don't know about it yet because Frolic has not even pitched the idea to them yet.... so that explains that. I quite certain the Happy2BHardcore name is owned by Moonshine.

Imports are expensive, so buy it from cdpacific.com. There the price is like 11 euros :)

I've been studyin HHC for about 4 years now. I must say that I dont care for anabolic frolic as a DJ. But...bein here in north america, thats all we got that's "mainstream" Hullabaloo parties used to be well produced, large, with many headliners. It's still got amazing vibe and is alright, but the sound is always horrible at the opera house. Hulla is very much linked to the H2bHC CD's since frolic produced the hulla parties, and that is very evident in what you hear at hulla from frolic...not so much now cause he hasn't done any real work in a while :)
Overall, I dont care for em, they're boring. If I was to compare the bonkers to H2bHC series, bonkers much more of a fun rollercoaster ride, where as H2bHC is like a kiddy coaster.
HHC is VERY unrecognized by almost everyone where i live -- north east USA....therefore i enjoy and listen to it mostly alone and not with anyone who even has enough of a musical background to even be able to understand how wonderful HHC is.

there are tons of hardcore heads int he northeast, what are you talking about? and hulla is fun, but there are certain djs who drive the mixer way too hard so it sounds like ass.
but i started getting into hardcore by listenning to the h2bh series, the earlier ones are better in my opinion though
