I was just wondering what it's like to go to an event without anybody else - is it any good or what?? You see I have no friends who can even stand HH for one song, let alone a whole night :(

I was gonna do Uproar on my own last saturday. Wish I had now! Well, if u want someone to hang out with at the raves me and my mates (actually, just one of her usually) are always a good laugh! Most of the people I know think hardcore is just bad porn, so i know where yer comin from.
U anywhere near leicester?

went 2 a rezerection event about a year ago by myself...one of the best nites of my life...trust me, once the atmosphere takes over u u'll hav the time of ur life!

Im up in Manc at the mo, but during holidays - currently student at the mo I live doon south (near Brighton).....

arrrrgh!!! that's miles away! ANYWAY if u'r going to a milton keyned sanctuary event u can def hang out with us when u get there. my next one is SLAMMIN' and a few of my mates should be there for that.

Yea I been to a couple of raves on my own. Obviously different to going with mates but good all the same. Even when I go with the lads I end up doing my own thing or hanging around with some randoms, I go to dance really so it don't matter who i'm with.
Journeys home on your own on a comedown aren't too much fun though!

i went to slammin on my own last year, it was great, journey was difficult there and back, kept tryin to sleep and at one point ended up elbowing the guy next to me on the bus. but all round GOOD.

I've only been to a couple of raves on my own. The reason for this is that none of my mates appreciate or like Hardcore cause they're all into Rock & Hip Hop and say that they would never go to a rave!
Luckily i've always met people at the events so they havn't been 2 bad in the past. I hate it when people judge Hardcore and take the piss out of it, they just don't know real music when they hear it these days.

yeahi know the feelin, but how often do you say that hi p hop is s***. its the same, although i have dragged one of my die hard hip hop/rnb mates who cant stand hardcoreto a rave before and he realy enjoyed the atmosphere

Haha, I feel the EXACT same way. My friends are missing out big-time on probably the most innovative gerne of music ever born. I know one thing's for sure: They'll hear it one of these days and say, "holy-shiznit, this stuff is the shiznit!"

When i went raving on my own, went incision on a friday, took loadsa drugs, too many, heh, after party- started to get paranoia, a just didnt feel right, then later, i went uprising with the legend- MC Trev, i was a shaking mess, and my heart rate was all over the place, i should of really been in hospital not at a rave.

Thats how I'm looking at things. My friends aren't really into HH (though they respect it as good music, which is all I ask) so getting them to go to a rave with me is out of the question. Besides, meeting new people is always fun.

Dude totally once the music starts thumpin' then you'll meet tons of new people. Have you ever noticed when you're at a rave that no one cries, and no one seems alone? I'm ramblin' it's fun with friends or without.
