You're gonna have to stop the president bashing. Both religion and politics are a bad topic anywhere as they start giant flame wars. This topic will go downhill and be locked if this persists.

Okay.. Someone decided to edit my post and unlock the topic. Whoever want's to keep this topic open, so be it. I just don't think any good will come out of this topic.
I just have something to say. If you want to start saying stuff like, "Bush sucks" or something like that, please back up what you say with some content. I bet most people who said stuff like haven't done any research on anyone. All I'm saying is, have something to back up what you say. I'm non-partisan, but for anyone in office, it's not right to say something about them without having a good reason behind it.

I thought for the most part everyone here has been pretty friendly except myelf for starting this thread.You have all been pretty polite for the most part and I can accept when someone disagrees with me as long is a polite "I have to disagree with ya on that" I mean no one would get anywhere if we all just agreed with each other right.
All im sayin for this thread is that strangely enough it brought us all together and gave us all something to think about.I feel safer during next years election knowing that most feel the same if not similar to I do about this.
Thanx for lettin me vent its been building for a while and I feel much better now that I have said my peace.
(this is officially my biggest thread here...... now if only my song threads would get this big heeheehee)

There was no reason that it should have been locked really! It's just a healthy discussion, and if done properly can only benefit all. After all if you don't like it, or whats happening within this thread then you don't have to read it/reply to it.

too true, but moderators need to do their job as well and moderate when they feel things might be getting a bit heavy. all in all i think everyone handled it well. got some quality people here.

I just locked this topic because I know from past forums with threads like this, it gets way too ugly. So I wanted to stop that before it started. What I'm saying is, you shouldn't say you hate anyone or someone sucks without a reason. That's like if I were to say, "Brisk sucks man!" and that's it. I think it makes you look really stupid/immature to not say anything to back that up or why they suck.
