What does or did everyone think to hixxys mix on radio 1 ?????and what does everyone think to putting hardcore on radio 1?

i think its goin well. i think the style that hes playin is sittin between v.trancey and hardcore. i think if your to try and attract new listneres/fans to hardcore, then you have to ease em in. Cant just bang in the hard stuff. I think hardcore on radio one will be good. Id like to hear brand spankin new stuff weekly without havin to fork out each time.

Hixxy has received alot of criticism of late (from me included)..... I think last night he answered those criticisms with a great big **** you! That mix blew me away, and I got the chills up and down my spine!!!
Have to say I now can't wait until tonight's show!!!!
Good on ya to EVERYONE who has been involved on getting Hardcore back onto Radio 1... and that includes everyone behind the scenes! Theres alot of work gone into getting this far, and its paying off... Big up 2 all of you!

hixxy most def. said "LEARN - AND FCK U CRITICS" last nite --- WOW what a MIX!!!
I was educated last nite!
I tell you what, I was on about how to be indivual in this scene with everyone banging out the same stuff... hixxy was totally original to me in that set he played and I have a reformed opinion on things now
he has seriously earned a MASS of respect! and I wish him all the luck in world for where he's taking his/this/our music!

Last night's mix was something else altogether! ! JP felt that Hixxy should have mixed for 3 hours!! As he said, Hixxy should be very very proud of what he has done - and not only that, they're going to get him back in to do another!!!! :)
What I found the most astonishing was the amount of contact Radio 1 had received via phone/web/text etc. etc. apparently it would have taken the rest of the slot just to read out the names - so well done to everyone who contacted Radio 1 last night - I'm sure the BBC now know that there IS room for hardcore on the radio.
Of course, let's not forget that tonight is the big one............
