iv heard stories about him bein so high on e at parties that he's ripped the arm right off of the turntable and the party had to stop for an hour until someone could bring a new one.......can someone confirm this tho??
also.......his mixes arent the best....but he thinks they are because moonshine produces them.....
also he doesnt make any of his own tracks period! unless you count the 2 he had people hold his hand and help him through....
sure i respect him for creating hulla, but not everyone can be a superstar dj and promoter too....

you could argue the point, whats so good about any DJ. they all have the ability to mix. But the point is hes promoting the scene.

he always looks like he's enjoying himself to the max and he's done a lot more for the scene than most of us have!
I say fair play to him ..... would like to know if the deck arm story is true though, haha!

there are a lot of djs out there that don't produce their own tracks...
i respect the guy for introducing the stuff to a larger audience but dj wise i don't care to listen to shoes in a dryer =P
as far as him being high at parties i think that's a farse, now if it was brisk or scott brown and the topic was beer...that i would believe

Anabolic Frolic can't really mix as good as Hixxy and Sharkey, but he gets the style of Happycore i like, the happier/bouncier stuff, so i always buy his cds. I have some of his live mixes and he mixxes at raves better than he does his cds.
Hey, if it wasnt for Anabolic Frolic, most of North America wouldnt know what Happy Hardcore is. I want to go to one of his Hullas so bad and party where i can blow my whistle and wear candy and not get looks and ppl telling me to stop blowing that whistle!!

Well.. when I say I spin UK hardcore, I have to say, "Happy hardcore" or else they won't understand. So yes, if it wasn't for him, north america would have NO knowledge of happy hardcore.

Frolic's parties are popular, but he only touches a certain part of hardcore, he never plays or books anyone else outside his circle... his "charts" are also dodgy.

I'm just answering what you stated in your topic name. And, 'the_forth' is right. You basically just answered yourself.

Some of his mixing was a bit dodgy on his earlier Happy 2B Hardcore releases, but he's got an awright choon selection if ur into the cheesy choonz.
I've never heard him play live yet so i don't know what he's like. The only way i would get to hear him is on the Hulla Store where he sells his live mix cds.
