The most wanted Hardcore CD of all time, and i'm of course speaking about Bonkers 12.
Here's my point of view:
Hixxy was the best. ( Good choice of music and all with good melody, third time in a row, in my opinion. Both 10 and 11 was the best. )
Sharkey was the worst. ( His mix @ 10 and 11 was great but this was a disappointment. )
Scott Brown used himself... Again? ( I do not like that he's almost using himself in his mixes. really upset me. Can people like themselves so much? )
Breeze & Styles was good, but not good enough ( I liked their hardstyle, but as in Sharkey's mix, there were too few nice melodies and happiness. )
Although all complainments, disappointments and positive energy, i give this complete CD:
+ + + +

Well i understand you ropion but here is my verdict afteer listening to the CD's a couple of times:
Hixxy - Very good tunes, mixed amazingly
Sharkey - Bloody awesome!!, i never like his old stuff apart from Bonkers1, but i like his 9 & 11 mix and this is the best so far in my opionion
Scott Brown - Amazing, best on the compolation, i don't normally like his gabber stuff but this was amazing , This is my BOOOMSTICK!!!
Breeze & Styles - basically the same as Hixxy, good tunes but there were some amazing tracks in this such as I'm a Raver and Electric and there was also a pretty hard tune, cant remember the name though..
I give this an overall
+++++ - amazing, where's 13 React lol

I didn't know that Breeze & Styles produced Hardstyle! I'm not usually a big fan of Sharkeys mixes but this one was great. I don't mind Scott Brown using his own tunes cause all of them are quality anyways. I agree that Hixxys cd is good cos it has a lot of good vocal tunes in the mix. I would say the same for Breeze & Styles Mix.
I would give the cd 5 stars

This was posted in another threat but I can't be arsed to do another so:
Hixxy - top stuff. Waiting and tantric are excellent tunes, I think tantric could be a massive grower on everybody, interesting use of 'unusual' synth sounds. Nice balance between vocal and non vocal tunes. Flows very nicely, quicky enough to gloss over the couple of weak tracks on the mix. Agreed that it suffers from not having a couple of B&S tracks on it.
Sharkey - Amazing! relentlessly hard but stuffed full of banging tunes, no filler tracks imo just quality. Mixing points and order of tunes judged to perfection. Keeps your interest the whole way through. tunes 5-6-7-8-9 are so good they justify the purchase of all 4 cd's imo
Scott Brown - Familiar sounding, not as adventurous as i'd hoped but still good. He seems to moving away from melodic vocal tracks and upping the hardness, which with B&S on the next cd was probably a good thing. Never gonna really love his gabba endings but with the inclusion of boomstick I feel i'll probably listen to this one more than his others.
B & S - Well it better than I thought it'd be but it really does become a bit samey after a while (like Hixxys 11 mix) with that well know synth stab and bass sound on show far too much. Some good tunes on it though, 3000 cycles, skydiving and electric remix are class, just too many average tracks in my opinion. I will listen to it again no doubt and it may grow on me but I feel it was an opportunity missed to do something a bit different.
All in all I really rate this after the disappointments of 10 & 11. An excellent package easily worth your money. This could be the best bonkers since 3 imo and I know i'm gonna be caining it for weeks in my car.

I agree the Sharkey mix is top quality. There's very few tunes that I dislike in Bonkers 12 (4 at the most), so that says something about how good it is IMO.

In my opinion
Hixxy = good
Sharkey = amazing!!!
Scottbrown = amazing!!!
B&S = a waste of a cd > ok it included 3 good tracks but the whole mix is too predictable and too slow. sorry but that's a fact that last one.

I agree with smilee Breeze & Styles is more Trancey but Hixxy is anything but slow in fact i think it's faster than his other stuff its a pity Hixxy never has a couple a more songs but i still believe Scotty B owns 12 then Sharkey (and i nromally don't like his mix, but you gotta luve : power In The Light, Transmission To Mars and Hugger Mugger)

Agreed mate, bar 3000 cycles every track is structured exactly the same, with the same synth and bass sound, well thats how it seems to me anyhow.
Plus it all plods along at sub hardcore pace.
Thank god hixxy pitched his mix up. I do wonder if having B&S on a cd allowed hixxy to get away from the ultra predictable trance sound of the last 2. The B&S mix is very reminiscent of hixxys 11 mix in terms of speed and structure imo. Maybe they were told to keep it slow and safe? just a thought...

i cant fault it to be honest, all of the mixes are good
i dont usually listen to sharkey's CD's much but this time his mix totally blew me away. scott brown's gets hard as hell at the end and has some great tunes in it also.
i think the RB crew covered a range of tunes and contrasted well with each other.was worried that the two mixes would be pretty much identicle but i dont thins is the case at all.
all in all i think it's a return to form for bonkers crew good effort guys!
