I dont usually like most of the tracks on Sharkey's mixes... The only ones i really liked on Sharkey's mix were:
Kevin Energy & The *TING* - Power in the Light
K Complex & Mark Ashley - Atomic Orbital
Gammer - Can't Compete
Dougal & Gammer - Know the Score
Impact - Funky Technician
V.A.G.A.B.O.N.D & MC Wotsee - Hugger Mugger
---------
what the hell is up with 3000 cycles?! i haven't heard such a shit track in all of my life...

I quite like it myself, its the only breath of originality on what seems to be a totally hackneyed and 'play it safe' mix...

Erm, wots wrong with trance? in my opinion trance tunes are quality, as wot it says beneth the tracklisting on all cd's. Its the comercial trance lovers that are the majority, and if they listen to the hardcore trance fast pace they will love it and laugh at the pace of "club music". like i did.
Hixxy's mix - not bad, mostly gud
Sharkey - totally wicked dont normally like his tunes, but marc smith is a legend
Scott Brown - his usual recipe, getin a bit tedious though. wots with the annoying bad gabba at the end, theres 2 much of it!!!! scott likes doing this music 2 much, his more bouncy stuff is way more popular and better
Breeze&Styles - i generally liked it
E=Sharkey

Hixxy was the best. ( Good choice of music and all with good melody, third time in a row, in my opinion. Both 10 and 11 was the best. )
Sharkey was the worst. ( His mix @ 10 and 11 was great but this was a disappointment. )
Scott Brown used himself... Again? ( I do not like that he's almost using himself in his mixes. really upset me. Can people like themselves so much? )
Breeze & Styles was good, but not good enough ( I liked their hardstyle, but as in Sharkey's mix, there were too few nice melodies and happiness. )
Although all complainments, disappointments and positive energy, i give this complete CD:

What the heck is wrong with React and the censoring in "Just Accept it" ? I mean, they could cut it or something, but put a BEEP in place of F*cking, is just stupid.
And even more stupid when you look at the tracklisting and have a "What the ****" track.

Well, i am still waiting for my cd from the UK (HMV) I guess they didnt get thier stock of cds in on the 12th cause usually when i order off HMV they have it shippe dout within the next 2 days. Well anyways, i listened to the samples off thier site and this is what I think:
Hixxy-Sounds really bouncey and the bass sounds really hard too. I like Hixxy's style, who care if its "commercial trace" its still happy hardcore and its still as hard as ever. I like "Tantric" because it has the video game synths!
Sharkey-Really good stuff on here, i like "Hugger Mugger" the best of the samples
Scott Brown-Sorry i ever doubted this man! His mix sounds awsome! A perfect mix of happycore and gabba!
Breeze & Styles-The cd starts out kinda dark but then gets really 'happy' and bouncey and uplifting. I thought it sounded good, but i kinda thought the songs sounded a little slow, may just be me.
Horray for Bonkers!

well i this CD is yes.....completely BONKERS!
I have to say all the mixes were great but i wouldnt have said that hixxy's mix was the overall best. I would of chosen my self Sharkey. Banging out the classics tunes and a definate winner in my boooks.

Review:
CD 1 - Hixxy Mix
(Warning, this may be bias due to personal taste )
As usual, Hixxy did not dissapoint. Smooth, stylish, uplifting Happy Hardcore at it's best.
There were however, a few tracks that I would not have expected to be on such a new cd, considering how long ago it was I first heard them. (For eg: Billy Daniel Bunter & Jon Doe - Round & Round, and 69 - You're My Angel.)
Some tracks that stood out that I'm sure will become loved and known within the rave scene over the next few months include: Dougal & Gammer - The Piano Tune, DJ UFO & Shelly - Waiting, DJ Hixxy -Take A Look and Hixxy and MC Storm - Just Accept It (Hixxy Remix). This track was huge when first released, and I'm sure the remix will create just as much, if not more of a stir in the scene.
Big ups to local boy Rob Weaver for another blinder of a track - "Fallen Angel" that appears on Hixxys' Mix. Once again he didn't fail to impress.
All in all, it's a good mix. Some nice, new, fresh tracks. Some stand out, others don't. It's all in personal taste really. Mixing is perfect, and at just the right times.
Good work Ian! You rock my world
CD 2 - Sharkey Mix
I've never really been caught up in the Sharkey CDs' that come in the Bonkers series, Infact I only recentley listened to the whole Sharkey CD from Bonkers 11 last week, after playing Scott Brown and Hixxys' mix one too many times.
A self confessed lover of Freeform, I do like what Sharkey does, but there just doesn't seem to be that many tracks that stand out on his CD that I would pin as to be come huge in the coming months. (Note this is probably because Freeform doesn't move me like HHC, but if any Freeform lovers want to review this CD please be my guest!) I've always liked his mixing, Freeform is tricky to try and predict and this mix is no exception. Turned out excellent, as always. However, I was dissapointed with the inclusion of some old tracks, and the crappy way they were remixed. Eg: Sharkey vs CLSM - Wicked MC, and Outsidaz - Punk.
One track that did stand out though, is Lost Soul - Dark Side of the Moon. Nice tune, great beat.
The track selection isn't OMG AMAZING let's put that song on repeat!, but the mixing is flawless and it makes a change from the other 3 cd's of Happy Hard/Hardcore/Gabber.
Didn't really take much notice of this CD as I was running around working. However when I get a chance to sit down and scrutinize it, I promise I'll add more.
CD 3 - Scott Brown Mix
Master of all things Hard and Happy. Absolute ripper of a CD. Flawless mixing, excellent track selection and some really upbeat tunes.
Ones that really stood out include: Plus System - This Is How We Do It (A sort of megamix of his past songs including Badboy and Turn Up The Music), Scott Brown feat Cat Knight - All About You, Breeze & Styles - Heartbeatz (Of course) (Scott Brown Remix), Scott Brown vs Marc Smith - Hardcore U Know The Score, Scott Brown - This Ones' For All Of Us. (And more!!)
What more can I say, his own tracks as well as other artists all blend perfectley to create this banging CD. Big ups to Scott, the Scottish massive has done it again!
CD 4 - Breeze & Styles Mix
I love these guys. No matter how many tracks they produce that have the same riff & kick drum, they never fail to impress. The track engineering is excellent, and the euphoric vocals and samples they include in all their tracks have made them one of the very few artists that I have yet to dislike a track of!
Bit dissapointed with the inclusion of Alune - All Of My Life (Breeze and Styles Remix) it has been out for a while, same as Futureworld - Chemical Love. Also David Pamies & Cesar Benito - Torn (Breeze and Styles remix) didn't rate well either.
Tracks that did stand out, however include: Dougal & Gammer - 3000 Cycles, Darren Styles - Skydivin', Scott Brown feat Cat Knight - Flow, and Breeze & Styles - Electric (Bonkers Remix) Personally I think this is a close rival to the original Electric!
Once again, fabulous track selection. Breeze and Styles have always mixed the same way, simple yet clean. Love it or hate it, they pull it off with style everytime.
Well done Ian, Scott, Darren and Mark, you've made my vinyl want list grow yet again!
This CD is worth the money (or the download time )

CD1 Hixxy
Hixxys mixing was great but the tracklisting could have been more upfront. Favourite tracks: "Waiting", "Take A Look", "Just Accept It" and "Tantric".
CD2 Sharkey
I'm not really into Freeform so it's unfair to comment.
CD3 Scott Brown
Very good but maybe not as good as the last Bonkers. I know it's a Scott Brown trait but I prefer to hear more of the tracks. Favourite tracks: "This Is How We Do It", "Crazy Love".
CD4 Breeze & Styles
An absolutely brilliant mix! Typical uplifting trance hardcore from B & S. Favourite tracks: "All Of My Life", "I Adore", "The Sun", "The One", "Sky Diving"
