i see its flaws but - i fail to see the problem with it, all there doing is inforcing laws that are already there...people shouldnt be doing it, i mean, whatever next, pushing to get bank robbery and rape legalised?

no, but downloadig mp3's and movies that are copywrited is - and thats also in the bill - that flash animation only shows a small bit of the bill

if you have policeware on your computer they could do anything they wanted basically.They could put up a flagging system for when someone looks up and talks about drugs or you and a buddy could be talking about an action movie you saw and they will swoop down on your ass for terrorism.Basically the us will be watching whatever you do if you buy a new computer here.The us will use any excuse to break the constitution.

affermative, the clip had nothign to do with downloading
but that clip wasnt the entireity of the bill - if you look round the site and actually read what the bill says...you will find it covers much more than just burning cds.

thats total BS!, i mean comon ova 1 cd like its going to work i mean comon. even if they did make that how would they tell there comps that ur burning stuff ?? i mean its quite simple it would have to rely on the internet and all u would have to do is discconect n burn away  .... even tho its gota be a joke!

it's probably not going to work and isnt too much to worry about at the minute but i'm really starting to wonder how "controlled" everything and everyone is going to be in the near future.
with bills like this in the USA and "black box recorders" in cars being suggested in the UK (every time you go over the speed limit, run a light or park illigally it'll know and charge you) everything's really getting a bit "big brother" for my liking 
lets hope it doesnt get passed, is there a petition that can be signed in it's defence anywhere?
