don't know if this has been recommended yet.... Practice. It took me ages to be able to hear 2 beats at the same time from 2 different sources and decide which was too fast or which was too slow. It's fantastic when you get it though..
It don't matter who are or what you do, HARDCORE is for you.

Some songs its hard to tell where the first bar starts, thats when you just gotta sit down and figure it out! hahaha
Its always a good idea to give a practice run with ur new records before you go trying to record a mix with them, atleast then you have an idea of what to expect, cuzz not all songs have the same structure.
Some songs ive noticed that are weird
Droptop: gotta start at the "top let it drop" not "from the..."
Let it be the nigh: Chorus has extra bars that dont follow the rules :)
Till the day (phosphor and justrich mix) : chorus also has some odd stuff in the start of it
30 min harder: gotta start with the beat, not the vocal
