Well, they are working on alternatives for this whole situation that we're talking about, but also for Global Warming...Let's just hope that they'll have a plan ready for when the time comes.

haha im payin at least $2.50 a gal. here in cali, dont know conversions into other curriencies but that still a hell of alot for me to pay. Theres no hope for californians. More and more people seem to be driiving in this place. People even change thier lifestyles and jobs just cuz of gas. its crazy....

IF i lived there id pay 5 bux a gal. to fill my car?!?! Damn thats insane! Thanks for the info whispering. I dont feel too justified in my arguing over gas here in cali anymore. I'm quiet humbled now

Well, the price of petrol is mostly tax. Esso and BP wouldn't really make a lot of difference to the price even if they wanted to. If they lowered it to 69p they would be losing money! - Not that I care about their profits or anything, I'm just saying it wouldn't happen.

...and that is normal fuel? Not "farmer fuel" that you get without the tax?

The prices are comin down finally. Thats good news considering for awhile all it was doin was goin up. whats farmer fuel? is that like dirty cheap gas?

Hmmm... Donno if they have it in other countrys, but here farmers get fuel to their "farming" vehicles, traktors etc with out the full tax, witch is like 50% cheaper...
