There is this lady here in the states that has her car running on used cooking oil. She has a deal workout already with some chef and she actually drives over to his restraunt to take his used oil. Theres a kit i think she said that must be installed in your car so that there is proper combustion in the engine. (Dont know exaclty how it works). Now she doesnt even pay for gas anymore. Im sure somewhere else someone is schemin' ways to cut gas expenses...creative though i'll give em that

Yep, corn oil has a very similar makeup to diesel. A diesel engine can be converted to use it, but the conversion isn't that cheap :(

Its funny how they can arrest you for fuel tax evasion if you use vegetable oil, instead of petrol in your car. I've read a few articles and heard a few reports about it on the news and stuff. Supposedly most offenders are caught when their car happens to smell like a deep fat fryer.
But for those of you outside the U.K, you would understand why people do it when you see our petrol prices, in which the tax involved is taxed upon even further.

O today my mom doubled park and as she got out and closed the door and this guy that delivers take-out skidded side-ways and feel right in front of my mothers car! When I leaned foward to see, my mom was out of the car already so it wasn't like she ran him over. Now my mom never gets out of the car without looking to see if anything's coming, cause if you don't that's just stupid. So he's yelling and saying that it was her fault that she opened the door and caused him to skid on his motor-bike things and fall over and break his mirror. First of all because my mom did look and got out and then he fell over it was his fault cause he was going too fast. If you see a door you usually try to atleast stop BEFORE the door, but he was like 8 feet infront of my mothers car! Yeah so the police came. And he was like, your not allowed to double park and he was practically saying you can't open your door. Yeah, double parking's illegal but there's a whole street of doubled parked cars so he shouldn't have brought that up. But can you believe that? He was saying, you can't open your door and get out. I don't know. Whatever...LoL
