^^ ur exactly right psymon, and thats the bottom line really, what can the govt. do to sort that out? there was the thing about cameras set at equal distances that are all connected up, and they measure ur speed over the distance so they can take can average (see physics text book if ur that bothered  ) and i reckon that'll be about the only thing that'll work, but they can't put it all over the place.
besides even if there were them things everywhere, there will be some that still break it coz there will be times when we need to. engagements that you need to get to etc.
i can't actually see a proper logical way around it but i think thats the closest it will get.

cameras monitoring me scares me... if we let them have these, then they'll want cameras in houses to prevent domectic violence and so on and so forth, it seems like a step closer to a police state (not that we're really not already in one).

In my eyes speed cameras r just anotha way 4 government 2 get ppl 2 part wiv their hard earned cash!!!Me finks its got sommat wiv taxes?!(Anotha way gain tax?????)

We are being watched all the time without even realising it. Here is a little test for you to try. Type an email from work with the subject something like Blair / Bush asassination attempt and send it to your personal email address. 1 minute later send a normal email. when you get home you will see that the normal one arrived before the assassination attempt one. This shows that the email was intercepted en route by the government. Scary really.

Scary if true, but then, if this is true then wouldnt have these webpages been intercepted and removed in the interests of (inter)national security?  , or is this a conspiracy theory made up to hide the real conspiracy?!?!?  . Yeah dead boring
