Tough question!
The realtionship I'm in at the moment is only very new (a few weeks) We were friends beforehand and when we started going out the sad thing is the only ground rule I laid down was to do with music. Basically I said music is my life, I listen to it & spin it & do everything I can to be affiliated with it, if you can't accept that then you can't have me. Music comes first but then again I'm not in love with him (yet) so I can't honestley say. However the amount of time, effort and money that has gone into my collection is disgustingly huge, so the love would have to be deep & strong.

my wife thinks hardcore is silly and she will go to parties with me, but she won't stop me because my daughter and i have a connection and it is with the music. i make her dance and i point to her and sing song lyrics and she repeats it. it would really suck to have to give that up.

Gotta agree with that, if she cared about you as much as you care for her then that dilemna should have never come up in the first place - unless you're asking whether you should give up hardcore by your own choice so you can concentrate on being with her which is another thing entirely!

Holy crap, to never listen to hardcore, spin hardcore, go to raves, or all that crap hardcore, id be a miserable depreessed suicidal SOB. I could never ever give up hardcore, not for anybody never ever! Thats just sick to ask someone to give up their favorite music....what a sick sick sick woman.

What kind of freak doesn't like hardcore? lol.
This happened to me a while back, my misses hated hardcore due to having a severe mental disfunction that most sadly of all caused to love RnB like it were her child.
It just gave us both something to do away from the relationship, providing me with a bit of relief from her constant nagging.
Plus it was my f**king car so I played what the hell I wanted...
However had she ever said "it me or the hardcore" then, well the door would have bruised her ass on the way out.
