What a star save's pen with my gloves on ... then scores the winner, certain buy for champ manager.
However was a really good game england looked very tired with 20 minutes to go ( Quite shocking really ). Commentators were absolutely shocking. As for Campbells goal ref was right to call a foul as terry had his arm over the keeper, fair enough keeper wasnt getting it but a fould none the less.
Glad it'll only be "We were robbed" instead of "England win" i'll be reading.
Also when in doubt blame the ref when in the end of the day england just wansnt quite good enough.
...and for anyone that says haha where was scotland

I'll assume you mean he saved the penalty with no gloves on...
I can't disagree with what you say though, we were crap, and were very lucky to get extra time.
But there is nothing more lonely than watching England have a goal disallowed and then lose on penalties while sitting in a pub in Germany surrounded by Portugese and even worse Germans who are supporting Portugal.
I know people who aren't English don't give a flying f**k, but this hurts...

Actually I can understand the frustration. Not so long ago when Ireland went out of the World Cup on pens against Spain.

Murray, you can **** off slagging off England. you hate the commentators which i m not gonna argue with but you chat absolute ****ing bollocks saying that shit about that ****in **** of a keeper.
that was arrogance and ****ing unsportsman like of him to take the penalty; with a goal that size i'm sorry, position of keeper or not, anyone could have a chance against a keeper of any standard. That was portugal takin the piss and that is what ****ed me off more than anything else.
Even if James saved it, that is still a ****ing insult. England's players don't deserve this stick (excluding Beckham for that penalty in the shootout)

actually after re readin my post after what Emmy said; yeah i was a bit harsh there, sorry about that but i've just had an exam and it went shit and where i was pissed off about the match, i just sorta lost it a bit and had to have a bit of a rant.

don't worry about it Jester! You're allowed to be p*ssed off you know! We were robbed by a ref that thought portugal were Switzerland. If England knocked out Switzerland, then WHY THE F*CK DO WE GET A SWISS REFEREE?!?!?! Stupid tw*t was at the f*cking half way line when he disallowed the goal... all because the reterded f*cking keeper fell over!
the thing that p*sses me off the most is that when Scotland plays, me and my mates (and everybody English i know) always support them... as well as Wales, Ireland and Northern Ireland. So why does everybody else always want England to lose? the only thing i can think of is that they're all jealous?

wow....you guys really get into this sport huh? I can relate. Ive played hockey since i was a kid so ima huge NHL fan. I just wish i had people to joke around and talk smack to like you guys have it here...

England tried to defend their lead too much they where only one nil up and they tried to hang on insted of extending their lead.
And they were bollo*ed near the end of the second half.

Jester, how the **** was in unsportsman like for the keeper to take the penalty. So the likes of Chilavert whenever her takes a penalty is it unsportsman like ... no it isnt he just happens to be the best penalty taker for his country.
