that site is just mad weird!!! i actually havent been to a rave unfortunatly! ter aint ne round here, but i know if i went i wouldn do drugs!!! so they sudn stereotype every1 tha goes!! pricks!!
and if you thik about it, most things we do are against our religion so ters **** all ya can do about it!!!

hahaha that site is so mad!!! To be honest, I dont know what to believe in, so I dont even think about. I havent been to church in like 12years, though last year I went to a salvation army place for my best mates funeral (R.I.P Craig), but that site really does talk aload of bollocks!

well i'm an wiccan... i've seen phentagrams on some hardcore vinyls maybe thats one of these reasons the christians doesent like raves...

the christians dont look that deep - and if they did im sure they would find more things to whine about. the christians which do have a problem with it are the ones who hold an unchangeable opinion that "all ravers do drugs, and the music is from satan himself"
this opinion is localised to american christians (esp evangelical ones in the bible belt) though, the rest of the world has pretty much wised up to the truth

Please don't group us all in this category  ..... I know loads of Christians who are ravers, punks and all sorts...... Choice of music has nothing to do with your faith (unless your into Death Metal hahaha). The sentiment behind raving and the music has alot in common with my particular beliefs anyway..... that of Peace, Love, Unity and Respect

Well said, Underloop. I'm pretty christian myself and I like going to raves. I hate the smoking (allergic) and some peoples attitudes, but I love it for the music. Going to a rave is no different than going to a concert. People take drugs there too.
I just hate how people classify us into this stereotypical group. It's pretty stupid in my opinion how christians are the stupid idiots and everything.
Anyway, I personally think religion or political talk here is a bad idea. I just wanted to show my feelings about this.

Of cousre, you're all forgetting the strongest believers of any faith - those that worship the religion of BINGO!
Last week, i went to pick my mother up from her weekly visit to the bingo hall. I arrived a little early so went and sat down with her until the sermon finished.
There was this preacher guy on a stage shouting out numbers and everybody was listening really intently and hanging on his every word.
Then, all of a sudden this woman jumped up and shouted "OH MY GOD, I'VE WON".....
....then, about 200 women all said in unison - "JESUS CHRIST!!!!!"

My faith never goes into thought when listening to any type of music.
Because I went to a Catholic school I had Religion test and all that. So once on a test we had to state our opinion on a statement. And for some reason I felt that I needed to mention that I don't have a problem homosexuals and or all the others out there who are different. Anyways, I went on about my disagreement saying like, I don't think it's right God and "His" people have something against gays, blah blah blah, because we're taught to love and accept everyone blah blah blah. I always thought that you know like, christians hated gays and stuff...Yeah so when I got me test back my teacher took off like 10 pts. from the question!! She was like, we don't have a problem with them we just don't ACCEPT them and I was like what the...!?
But yeah, I don't these people should have said anything. Cause like we have these Christian priests here that have and probably still are sexually abusing young boys. One more thing, I don't understand why the church is CONSTANTLY asking for $$. I think for my Graduation ceremony we found out that the ushers weren't going to collect money from the people during mass and one of my guys friends was like, "Oh my God!! This is the apocralypse(sp?)! The church is actually not going to be asking for money! I repeat, the church will not be collecting money!" lmao. That was funny. Oh yeah, well as you now I know I graduated the 8th grade in june from the school I've been attending for 11 some odd years and like 2 days ago, guess what I got in the mail?? A letter from my school stating that that'll like for meh parents to still send money to them and the church even though I've left the school. LoL

It's obviously supposed to get you thinking "hm, that's interesting" which could make you more receptive to the rest of the drivel on there, but it's starting from a false premise. Spiritual music?
