What is everyones views of Dune & Scooter? They seem to consider themselves as Happy Hardcore to some extent.

So are they Happy Hardcore or Euro Trance/Dance? Coz you dont really hear them on many mixes, except the odd one here and there

some of Scooters old ones were considered Hardcore... Back in the UK was one example. (and for some unknown reason, so was Nessaja?)
but yea, i think Scooter are great, and fair play to them... i mean, how long have they been around? i got their "Push the beat for this jam" album and my mum remembered some of the tunes!

I think the rest of Europe has a different view on What is Happyhardcore ,For example Special D saying 'Come with me' Is Happy hardcore When it's not ...Over here anyway.

I like Scooter ,they seem to get a bit of stick though.

I realise you don't actually want an answer to that but:

10 years and still cranking out the cheese! Scooter's finest achievement so far is having 'Crank it up' used as the intro music for 'Funkyzeit mit Brüno' on the Ali G Show. AWESOME!!!!

Yes, they do. The rest of europe see Happy Hardcore genre as a much more "Hardcore" genre then they do in UK. Havent heard anyone call Special D Happy Hardcore.

Scooter used to make Happy Hardcore in mid 90's. New Scooter is eurotrance. Dune is in the middle, some call it Eurodance some Happy Hardcore. The old albums that is, "Dune" and "Expedicion". The albums "Forever" and "Forever and Ever" were ofcourse classical, as they were made with The London Session Orchestra and the new singles are eurotrance.

Both have done some decent tunes and in terms of tempo/content you could say that both have produced Happy hardcore (or a near approximation of it).

I'd be more inclined to say that Dune would get more recognition from the hardcore community than Scooter - particularly in England (i've always found the Scottish & Irish audience to welcome more variation).

Both have a place in HH - but just a small one!
