Its not often i am moved so strongly as to Bitch incesantly about a group or band bar maybe shitty boy girl groups.
There has undoubtably many a post regardin Flip and (Kill me ) Fill
however after the recent release of Disco land on all around the world, i have decided my personal mission in life is to track down flip and fill and patiently explain with shot gun in hand, that slowing down a track from 160 bmp to 2 bpm is wrong distressing and morally wrong. I find it distressing that young people may believe that the all around the world versions of heart of gold, shooting star, field of dreams and discoland are the originals this kills me .... I remember a day when EVERYBODY knew the tune shooting star or heart of gold and regardless of their prefered music genre They all knew and loved the CORRECT version. I would like to be the first to kick kelly lorennas ass so hard she goes back in time to her days as a singer for Bang when tracks she made were good ... SO HELP ME LORD HAVE MERCY ON MY SOUL FOR I HAVE MURDER AT HEART !!!!!!!!!!!

Why oh why cant you just accept it IM a rave AND a fu**ing drug anddict

the funny thing is i dont even care anymore
my bro bought clubland 5 yesterday and looking at the tracklist it should be called "lets see how many hardcore tracks we can exploit on one cd"
as long as they stay the f**k away from the freeform/gabber scene i couldnt really care less anymore

You can't do anything with whining. Yeah, I was pissed before, but now I'm over it. Excessive whining will get you nowhere.

I agree we sampled dance tracks before, but at least when they use our hardcore ones rather than sample them, they actually pay the original artists!

you say people have gotta get over it, but you gotta admit, at the end of the day it is still something that people are rightly pissed off about. i, myself, along with many others would not make a post about it coz we realise that it won't get us anywhere. that doesn't however mean that it doesn't piss us off.

its a shame but hey, thats how it is.

I'm not mad, just ask my camel steven!!!

Fair point mate but i still don't know what the problem is.

The 'people might hear this and think it's the original' argument means nothing to me. If people want to be in to hardcore they will be - nobody is hiding it.

The amazingly high number of hardcore tunes that weren't original never get mentioned yet people go mad at the very thought of a cover of a hardcore tune.

*Please note i said cover and not rip - as a lot of hardcore covers tend to be*

I'm old enough to remember the originals of a lot of the tunes Hardcore nicked from the 80's/90's and i don't remember reading letters in the paper from people who were outraged by every other song being nicked by hardcore.

Please understand, there is a market for alternative versions of hardcore tunes - the best thing we can do is get behind the tunes to make sure they're official mixes.
