Sorry if this has already been answered but my feeble mind wasn't able to read the WHOLE 1 and a bit pages of the topic!!!
 
Anyway, as far as i'm concerned PLUR is all well and good but to be honest just RESPECT with a little bit of UNITY would do me.
Love? never understood what makes that appropriate to raving.
Peace? Likewise - lovely in theory but it's not really feasible is it?

i don't care who you are everyone has had a "plur" expirience whether it was FULL ON PLUR or just the peace or the love or unity or respect.
some people choose to LIVE it some don't!(really don't care). but all in all its here and it will always live through the vibes of music and the culture. yea granted ALOT of people think its lil kid like(sorta like i do) or just STUPID! or its a "druggie" thing to say.
im here in the rave culture not for the fashion but the music and POSITIVE vibes that i know that are OUT THERE! yea i have met some jaded ravers and junglist which piss me off but thats part of the scene and whether its good or bad its the rave culture which rave culture wasn't supposed to be negative in anyway but alot of people misconstrued and just compltely exploited rave culture... and I STILL THINK of raving as a positive place to come and dance and listen to your fav djs and HAVING THE JUNGLIST/RAVERS/KANDYKIDS/PARTY PEOPLE! SO JUST ACCEPT THE RAVE CULTURE and EMBRACE IT! WE ARE HUMAN BEINGS...NOONE is BETTER THAN any other human being. well sorry for dragging it on but thanx for letting me RANT and RAVE ABOUT IT!>>

I personally find it moronic that someone has to invent an acronym for people live by when they go to parties.
I am a firm believer in the golden rule; and hence forth, if you treat me like shit, you should expect the same treatment back...treat me with dignity and respect and maybe I'll give you a CD =P
What I personally feel has hurt the "rave" (eww) scene is the seperation of genres. People feel they are too cool/good/old to listen to a certain aspect of electronic music and hence forth disrespect the whole community of people who do enjoy it. I miss going to parties and hearing anything and everything and people weren't just sticking to a certain bpm range.
There have been too many boundries put up and I feel anything with a raw ruff edge should once again be called just plain old hardcore.

I must admit, I agree totally with what Brian K said, BUT, people do seem to need to be told to respect each other these days. I've always had a similar attitude to Brian.... I respect everyone until they start showing me disrespect, then I just can't be bothered with them (I don't go disrespecting them back.... they aren't worth my time).
