I've been a hardcore Nintendo fan since i was 4 or 5 years old.
My favourite game series has always been Zelda. I love them all
From the very first one that came out in 1987 to Four Swords Adventures(latest one for GC).
I've worked with E. coli strains that went from a shiny metallic colour to a dark purple colour with an orange ring around it...really cool looking...a lot nicer than the ugly snotty grey strains:P

Just wondering, did you do a Major/Honours in Microbio or did you go on to do a Masters/PhD as well? End of next year I'll finishing up my Microbiology degree, and planning to apply to Med school...maybe see about finding a Job with my undergrad degree if I doesn't work out...or maybe go on to do my masters in Microbiology. Just curious as to what kinds of Jobs are available, and what level of study is required...maybe I should have sent this in a private message…

I majored as a medical technologist. You spend a couple years as a student then you have to apply to a hospital to do a year of clinical study. As far as having a microbiology degree, I would try to get a job in a research facility like the Mayo clinic.
I had thought about going back to school in a few years to get my masters, possibly in business. I don't want to go to med school because a) it's too much school and b) paying school loans still you're 50 =P

Thanks for the info Brian! It’s nice to hear from people who actually work in the field. I'm not as set on med school as I once was; I still want to apply though and then decide from there. I know what you mean though, it’s a LONG time be in school and a long time to go being a poor student indebt way over your head...Also, the more I learn about microbiology the more interested I become, so who knows. It’s nice to know a little more about what’s out there. Thanks

That new Zelda looks amazing... Have you seen the video for it? one word.... WHOA! It looks the nuts! lol... And by cartoon Zelda do you mean Wind Waker... 'coz that was a crap Zelda game imo, i sold it befre i finished it

I've got the megaman games on a NES ROM i've got... 1-6 i think... And they're ROCK HARD!!! lol.
But I do have the newer Megaman Battle Network games for the GBA... (1, 2 & 3)They haven't got the platforming element of the originals, but are really good RPG's. And i have Super Smash Bros Melee for the GC and thats a great game! lol

i wanted to get the GC solely for the smash brothers melee. but i'm gonna wait for it to get a bit cheaper still coz i ain't got the money.

Nah, he just sold DD2...and yeah, I actually pushed him into a wall. He sold my other cousins NES though, he is an Azz.
JesterDJ: Megaman is awesome too, megaman 4 is my fav though.
I got the GC just for super smash bros too, still I like and prefer the N64 better.
'Little Ninja bros' I still love this game, all with types of swords, shields and armor, and special moves and bells too...it was really something.
I had a game 'Dino Riki', God that game frustrated me, my father was the one who got far and finished the game, I got till the 4th level I think or the 3rd...I sold it anyway, stupid game. It was about dinosaurs.
(I secretly kept all the Nes posters that came with the games, at least I still have the DD2)

blimey my topics managed to become almost enitrely about computer games, fair play. whilst we're on the subject i do love my xbox but hell megadrives the best we'll ever get
oh and emmy i dont think havin a specalist subjects the end of the world, i did mine for AS and i managed and E **** it theres always next year eh

I was a big nintendo fan in the days of the SNES but I'm afraid they cannot compete with the PS2 or the X-Box. Tiger woods 2004 anybody?
