Non-linearities in acoustically excited metal panels
1. A metal sheet such as may be found on the skin of an aircraft will start behaving non-linearly when the pressure acting on it causes it to deflect by approximately its own thickness.
2. There are many different types of non-linearity found in the vibration of plates and beams... the most commonly found being cubic stiffness, and quadratic damping.
3. Non-linearities are a complete and utter pain in the arse!!!!

The Nissan Skyline WILL come to America by 2007
and since im Left Handed, heres some interesting things about lefties...
*Lefty Albert Einstein didnt begin speakin until he was 4.
*Muslim countries consider the left hand to be Ungodly or Dirty.
*The Roman word for "left" is Sinister
*On a normal keyboard (QWERTY) you could type an estimated 1,447 words with the left hand. While you can only type about 187 with the right hand

I thought that panasonic gamecube thing was just a prototype?!
Yeh the SNES disc drive and 64DD would have been sweet.
Love all the mario games, especially Mario Kart (one of the best games ever!!) Also love street fighter, streets of rage, probotector (or Contra in America-I think!)
People have a lot of criticism for Nintendo but i still think they r the only company that makes games as playable as 'back in the day'. Fair enuff they mite seem a bit childish but u CANNOT beat their playability.
O yeh, duz any1 have Viewtiful Joe? IMO that is the best game of last yr, a classic 2D retro side scroller wiv sum nice moves!!!

Street Fighter 2: Ultimate Fighter Edition or something like that was a wickid game! Ryu was my character and i kicked ass big time lol
ooh, Super Probotecter - now THAT was a game that you could only play if you were good at gaming...
and about Nintendo, they rule, they basically brought in home family gaming to th world and have made some of the best games ever... I mean, who will ever go back in like 10 years time to these Playstation games? Don't get me wrong, Playstation games are good but they have no replay value really. You can go back to a Nintendo game that was made 10 years ago and still love it!
