my mom said she'd do the same, but as much as i'd like for to not come in with me, i couldn't ask her to wait in her car for a hours. she'd probably won't stay in it anyways. she'd probably get out, buy herself a ticket, have a few drinks and start dancing. lol

heh. drinks...21+with ID but i don't drink anyways. i'm 14 and hate the taste of them. ick i don't like that burning feeling you get in your throat and it tastes nasty! lol

I went to my first rave with some friends. In the first half hour of dancing, I was offered some glowsticks by this dude who liked the way I was liquid dancing. I was offered a water bottle by a hot raver girl who was dancing on a speaker. I got lots of compliments on how I danced. I made alot of new friends that night apart from my buddys I came with.
Although I did have alot of anxiety when I was on my way to the rave, hearing the music from the parking lot up until you get to the front door, it kinda soothes you.
You'll be fine, don't think about what other people are thinking and it will be one of the best nights.

hehe... a 14 year old at a rave... Milo, never seen anything like that before, right??  I'd say go and have fun. Considering your first one is going to be a NYC party, prepare to see.... a lot. I don't know if it would be wise to have mom show up. There might be some stuff that she'd rather not have you be around, so you might want to let her stay in the car(of course, staying in a car in NYC will let you witness a whole bunch of stuff as well).
Otherwise try and have fun. Its usually fun to wander about for a bit. I usualy just find someplace I feel comfortable. Sometimes its right by the DJ booth, sometimes its the back of the room where I can dance, other times I just chill out for a bit on the side, it just depends on what feels right. And don't worry too much about the dance moves. You'll see some people that rock, but most people aren't that good and its more fun to just move to the music how you want to. Just try not to crash into, punch, trip, etc, etc anyone.

dont stress m8 my first raves was a big 1 --- Helter Skelter and it was wicked,
every1 gets a bit nervouse even if it aint there first time garenteed they've got butterfly belly b4 they go in. I know i do and ive been doin it 6yrs. LOL
And dont stress bout how ya dance either every 1 dances differently, just dance how u want to and let the tunes take ova and i promise ya no 1 will laugh at ya for how ya dancin cause there there to enjoy the tunes to :P

This is true....I can't dance at all and at Funtopia I went nuts and no one laughed.....at least not that I could see lol :)

I'm always in the city, always have been. Nothing surprises me any more. =)
And not too long ago, just a few years ago, my mom was the one that went out clubbing till 6 in the morning. So I'm sure she'll know what I'll be seeing.
Once when we were having dinner in the village, she pointed out this girl wearing extremely tight shinny leather pants, a shinny leather tube top, shinny leather 6+inche pumps/shoes lol walking her two doberman pinschers.
My mom didn't tell us to not look or anything, so obviously she didn't have a problem. Heh. And as I said, my mom won't stay in the car. She'll find a place to go dancing. LoL
It's like 9:18 now, so after my mom comes back from walking my dog, we're gonna go back to the place and pick up tickets!! *Yay!*

Oh god, what was I saying? We can't go and pick up the tickets now cause the place doesn't sell the tickets? and the other place is closed. So my mom's gonna go on Monday and pick 'em up instead. =)
You know it says $27 but when you call up a place or go to groove tickets, they add an extra $2.00-$2.60 a ticket! 0.0

...It's summer and all my friends are the one's who are pathetic. Their parent's never let them go out anywhere! And I'm always on the computer because I'm always working on my assignments for school. And since I'm already online I'd just like to see what's up and if I have something to say or comment or whatever I'll post something. Don't worry, once high school starts I'll be out of your ****ing faces. =)

Yeah, sounds like fun! Take a drug that ****s up your brain neurons just to have a good time, that's not even like actually real for a couple of hours and then spiral back into a not soo 'happy' place. Since you're the one who suggested this, I take it you take MDMA...no wonder your such an idiot!
