Any hard dancers about here, and if there are did u get into it thru hardcore or did u get into hardcore thru it?

I've always been wondering... wtf is harddance?
"Hard" and "dance" are 2 things that in my experience really are compatible.
Got any soundclips so I can see what it's like?

Used to like my happyhardcore back when i was growin up then about 16 not much new hardcore i liked was being released i changed to hard trance, hard dance, euphoric trance etc but was still mainly into the bangin side of it. At the time the production quality amazed me and the size of some of the events was unreal. First real experience of big rave environments was things like tidy boys. When i got back into hardcore was when i went to the old school nights at the barrowlands and they done a scotland vs england night with bouncy techno vs makina. To be honest i stupidly thought hardcore wasnt really being made anymore cos all i'd ever seen was old school nights got talkin to some of the geordie makina Mc's and Dj's decided to look it up from there got into allsorts of u.k, gabba etc. I tried to keep up my knowledge of hard dance, trance etc but hard to find time every free minute i get is studyin hardcore tunes for the decks. Lookin forward to this exposure fest on friday hopefully catch a good variety of diff artists in all genres cos i bet the production quality of the new hard dance stuff is tremendous cos i've not heard much in a while should do the trick.

Im kinda halfway between a hardtrancers n a hardcore addict, still love all the new hard dance stuff coming up at the mo, really evil hard house from organ donors n hard n fast stuff from ppl like caroline banks etc but when i listen to hardcore id rather listen to the less dark stuff like brisk n ham or hixxy, really dark hardcore doesnt appeal to me im not really into the whole Dr.Z-Vago n real hard scott brown stuff

I like my hard dance n hard trance...... can't really say hardcore got me into it though.... I was into hardcore before hard dance came along though.
I don't likehard house though LOL
