Yeh m8 don't bother with going to a DJ school I would say there a waste of time and money. I DJ out in the clubs and have never been taught by anyone! All I advise you to do is practice non stop! I will recommend a book which is the DJ bible and its called
How to DJ (properly)
This helped me out alot when I started off!

I've got decks nw nd im practising and trying to build up a collection of vinyls, but i've lost my job so i've got to try nd get another one coz i need to get money to buy bonkers 13.

If i was you mate id keep checking local colleges to see if they doin a free djin corse, Thats what i done and ive been on it for bout 5 mounths and ive learned loadsa shit. Definetely worth it. In the end they say you should no everything you need to know to work in the djin industry. From Taxes to Producing.

^^^^ They do free Dj'ing courses!?!?!?!?!!!!
If you can find a free course tell me and I'll come with you, I've watched most of part 1 of Sy's mixing tips and he seems to have covered all the basics well enough, I'm gonna watch the rest soon hopefully. If you do find a Dj course somewhere is the Dj teaching you gonna be as good as Sy? I think not!
