i m only 14 but i m like obsessed with hardcore and raving and stuff. i m like the only person i no who likes it. my sum of my friends r interested in it but they thot it was weird i actually bought a cd.
ne way is ne one else like this.
ne one else my age?

Yeah there are others your age on this forum. I believe Squishy Star is 14, and I've seen several who are 15 or 16 as well. Never too young to start.

Yeah DJing at 14 is impressive. I have a friend from where I used to work who started DJing at about 14 and was in dance clubs and all that by 15. He wasn't exited about being able to go to clubs when he turned 18, because of it, lol. But, seriously, keep at it, its good to start young and develop your talent.

I was 12-13 when I first started getting into hardcore (back then it was "old skool" hardcore and happy hardcore though). Didn't start producing until I was about 19 though, and was 23 when i started DJing.
Nothing weird about being into different sorts of music at whatever age - nopointin being a sheep and listening to stuff everybody else does - much more fun to have something your friends don't have and show them how great it is!

ignore Murray's comments by the way, he's just got a dry sense of humour you'll get used to him although myself he still makes me cringe on site of his avatar and therefore impending noncy post but there ya go 
as for DMS yup he may smell a bit funny but he is an all round nice fella.

So from our spirited bunch of odd heads, and ravers, welcome to the site, and keep coming back coz it will help u to discover more about hardcore and there are some cool people on this site that do know exactly what yuo went through coz no one else seems to understand your appreciation for a new music genre.
chit chat and intros over and back to the point though, i still have no mates from outside of this website that are fans of hardcore, and my other mates besides take the piss out of me for listening to it; but that's ok coz its only they're opinion and thats what music's all about.
Stick with it coz especially if u start from an early age the rewards will be all the greater later on.

Im 15 and im into rave....i started listenin to it wen i was about 7. And i got my best m8 in2 it aswell, now i couldnt liv wivout rave music lol

Hey hungryhobo, I'm 15, I DJ hardcore, its never too young to get into hardcore. Knowing how it is for hardcore at your age, I'd say go DL some mixes, I like the ones posted at hardcoreforya.net, they are pretty good. When hardcorerevolution.co.uk launches this october, they'll have some class mixes, knowing Red.
