I had Hardcore and trance at my wedding, and up to date dancey tracks, but i had loads of stuff as i come from a hardcore background and i got Tom Wilson's Technokath played and i made sure i danced my ass off when shades of rhythm and everyone like that came on.
Remember it is your wedding and you do everything else wo make everyone else happy so a few toons wont go wrong

Where do you live in the US, I'd love to contribute some vinyl for whatever wedding DJ you get. Stick to the more "trancy" and "commercial" hardcore. Don't go freeform, most people think its too hard.

definatly 24/7(mine and my boyfriends song for when we have our wedding)heartbeatz,your my angel,close your eyes,love of my life,...im a girl so id suggest anything with a good lot of vocals on it...stuff that even if she doesnt particularly like the music,the lyrics have meaning...then u cant go wrong!
and to reply to the person who said how lucky u are...im the one that wants hardcore at my wedding,luckily my guy approves!!!haha!dont worry shell totally come round to it and if shes letting you have it at ur wedding she must b a budding fan anyway!

hardcore at weddings is fun =) I just played at one of my best friends wedding's...made sure to get piss drunk before hand =P it was interesting because all the grooms men minus 1 were djs =P

Can't go wrong with anything from Bang! or Blaze! (til the day)...
New stuff, Through the darkness, 24/7, HeartBeatz, You're Shining, Guilding light (MWX008), Dual Love (Infinity 26), Ultimate High... some of the newer rave and beats is also good for feel good music...
You might also want to play that jobseekers rip with the true love never dies sample in the middle... It's a trance rip that people will know and sings about love :)

I agree with everyone else- play something cheesy!
Everytime I close my eyes, Guiding Light, Love of my life... ya know, lovey dovey stuff!
I know I am gunna have hardcore at my wedding. My BF is now heavy into hardcore cuz of me ^_^. We both want all hardcore. Except one thing- our song right now is DJ Sammy's Candlelight remix of Heaven, and we want that one. But other than that, its all hardcore!!

oh man! This community is great! HA!!! I didn't expect this many replies in less than a 24 hour period! Thanks guys!
You all have great suggestions!!!!... and to be honest with you, i know very very few songs by name, but you guys gave me a starting point for me to buy some cds and do some reasearch. It should be noted that yeah, i am pretty new to the hardcore scene. The last 4 years Ive been into trance pirmarily. Currently I own only 2 hardcore cds, and no vinyl... Im not a dj, like some of you guys are, Im just a graduate student schmuck who wont listen to anything but electronica, and at college we have great web connections, so streaming music it is! Hooray for streaming hardcore! 
Alot of you have suggested to do something

lets try this again...
Alot of you have suggested to do something "cheesy" which, now makes sense to me. In many situations in life you have to judge your audience so you can make a great presentation, and im sure every good dj knows this. A wedding and a club are VERY different audiences, so for a wedding something cheesy,upbeat and dancehappy is best, right?
Clearly Ill be dancing my asss off to all electronic songs that get played..but what about others? Itll be fun to have me dancing and everybody watching..but that can only happen for 1 or 2 songs at most. Yeah Ive gotta be careful.. I tease my fiance by saying that Im gonna be so exhausted from dancing that Im going to be to tired to make love!
So the thought is that I should have some hardcore songs that I enjoy and others could also enjoy who dont really know hardcore..you guys have suggested cheesy stuff.. and that makes sense now that i think about it.
Im glad to hear that some of you have succesfully combined weddings and hardcore before! It will be interesting to expose hardcore to those self-sheltering family members from montana. Ha. I bet theyll tell their kids that this kind of music is evil or something. Yeah, and listening to hardcore means i drop ecstacy too.. mmhmm.. riiiiiight. Screw them.
so thanks again for the suggestions! Ill have to do research and find out what
these songs actualy sound like, although Im sure Ive heard them all before, I just dont know the names of any songs... the sad side-effect of listening to streaming music primarily.

Im now at graduate school in california...at the famous/infamous UC Berkeley where the hippies came from...we met at college at Carnegie Mellon University in PIttsburgh PA where she is currently a senior. And Im from boston. You are very generous to offer vinyl to a wedding DJ! Thats a ways off though, and id be a bastard not to pay you for stuff.

Other then playing hardcore, I also DJ weddings (Not turntables wikkidy wack style) but just your basic every day wedding dj. Last time I went out I played Take me away at about 160bpm. hehe
