I concur, althoughm I myself was able to perform ALL of my duties on my wedding day, which to included:
Wake up after a massive drinking session & ching binge.
Get to the church in one piece.
Marry the wife (very important).
Eat the meal (bloody difficult with a knock-out hangover).
Say my speech.
Do a couple of dances in front of everyone.
Get pissed up on whisky & beer.
Get even more pissed up.
Chase my very tired bride around the hotel suite & pester her until I get my wicked way. 
I had some hardcore at my wedding too, a few tracks by a Mr S. Brown if I remember correctly, and they went down a storm. There was some oldskool Scottish tracks played too, but TBH that's pretty normal at any weddings I've been to recently. The likes of Ultrasonic, QFX & The Rhythmic State have been played at all sorts of parties for the last few years, & while some older folks used to turn their noses up, they now just know that it's a part of the night that will run it's course & then they can go back to dancing to 'Elvis' or the 'Bee Gees' or some other crap that I can't be bothered with.
