man i m sick of ppl jus giving it the cold shouldier for no reason. most ppl have never heard of it but they still say it sux. ya i guess if it isnt rock or rap it sux. lol
they say its jus sum crap computer blips put together. i showed my one friend sumtin and he was like wow thats awesome. so then i told ihim it was hardcore then he said ya well i never liked it. i wasnt in the mood to argue so i was like w/e. i can understand if pl dont like it. i jus dont like it when ppl dont give it a chance or assume it is stupid. u no when u assume u make an ass out of u and me. lol ya thats corny.
i get that strange look all the time. i m like the only one in my school of 2000 that listens (or admits) to hardcore

Sure, I get the looks when I blast it out of my big ass headphones in the middle of 2000 fools at school. lol. I just need to throw a big ass rave and have everyone come. personally i've found that i've reached a stage where people hear it have a go at me and say stuff like "oh whats that sh*t. blah blah blah....." and i just find it absolutely hilarious to turn to them and just turn it up louder and louder and watch them get more and more pissed off.
it cracks me up.
the only things that really upset me is that, people claim to have an appreciation for music and what it should all mean, yet turn round and say hardcore (or any other genre for that matter) is sh*t. this annoys me because no one has the right to judge an art form and say that it IS or IS NOT sh*t - We are all entitled to our own opinions.
the other thing that is upsetting (really i just feel sorry for them in this case) is that people listen to it and just don't understand what it means; its something different so they shun it straight away without giving it a chance. now this is no skin of my back so i'm not really bothered but i just feel sorry for them that they can't appreciate what it is and enjoy it for what it is.
Rock i have a massive appreciation for because it has talent and has dedicaated followers; people that listen to it for they're own reasons. Rap i have to say i have no respect for because as far as i can see every tune seems to be about either:-
a) smoking weed (never anything else, maybe the occasional pill)
b) having millions of hoes all over the place and being a P.I.M.P *shudders*
c) having loads of money and buying loads of bling and stuff with it and shoving it onto the screens blinding the public and,
d) Shooting people <b> for no apparent reason at all...</b>
other rap songs for example that Puff Daddy tune (back when he was puff daddy) i'll be missing you, was a great song because there was a story in the song, and it had a specific meaning to him. It had nice lyrics and i could really appreciate and enjoy that song.
I resent artists that are into music for the money so create what will get them that even if its not true to what they like, (examples of this are Pink, and Daniel beddingfield) and the other people i can't agree with are people that listen to a type of music for any other reason than to appreciate and enjoy what it is.
if people like rappers saying stuff like i mentioned above, and can appreciate or relate to it or something like that or a song has its own meaning to that person, kudos to them for itl; that is fine by me.
But people that listen to music to be popular, to look cool, or try and be a rebel (like listening to punk music for example) because they specifically want to be different from other people; these people drive me mental. Its the lowest form of trying to be accepted that there is as far as i am concerned.
people are so concerned with being liked for who they are in a relationship, why the hell should it be ANY different for music. Music is as important to some people (i'm one of them) as being truely appreciated for who you are is to others. if u don't like my music, don't just turn to me and say its sh*t. tell me why it is, why you think that. otherwise you're wasting my time.
And with that ladies and gentleman, my fingers are now spent, but i'm glad to have said that.
