I listen to older Hip Hop and sum new stuff like Jurrasic 5, N.E.R.D and Goldie Lookin' Chain.

It's a good genre 4 chilling out.

Besides, the crap we hear on the radio, that's only made to make thick girls bounce they a$$, that's "RAP", the underground good shit, that's "HIPHOP"

raps pretty appaling and made for the masses, the stuff which flows n makes ure head nod the gud stuff thats hip hop, smoking music! listen to some french hip hop all that stuffs gud, dunno ne names but everything ive lisetened to is ****ing gud (gotta coupla friends who are big fans of all kindsa hip hop) love j5 but then i guess most people do, old skool stuff like sugar hill gang, grandmaster flash, grand wizard theodore :P all thats wicked new stuff like gangstarrs cool, uk hip hop like roots manuva, skinnyman, mark B n blade, all foooo|<in marvelous. please dont say hip hops shit its all about your opinion!

I cant stand mainstream rap and hip hop, all I hear on the radio at work is constant hip hop drives me batty! *argghhr! Seriously here all the radios through out NZ play hip hop 3 times more than even pop. Eminems new single damn its shit as a ceptic tank full! Quite right whoever said he's gone down hill, cant wait for him to fade away.

I watched a dj and some mc's in the octagon here in Dunedin, they were VERY impresive, must've been playing some underground stuff. So I'm wondering where's all this underground hip hop? Sounds like it could be as good as Hardcore

I wasn't being serious. :P Hiphop/Rap was the first music I started to listen to, Then I got into Hardcore but I dont listen to Hiphop/rap much now, So it's my 2nd fav style. :)

A lot of Hip-Hop is bad, especially these days, but a lot of it is good. I've listened to hip-hop a lot and heard a lot of amazing stuff. Favourite artists are:

DITC (Big L, Lord Finesse, Show and AG, Diamond D etc)
Gangstarr
Brand Nubian
Ultramagnetic MCs
KRSOne/Boggie Down Productions
Wu Tang Clan
Biggie Smalls
Tribe called Quest

All these artists must be heard because their music is top quality.
