Id rather "Ride a rainbow to the moon" then "Kill a cop then smoke weed For Shizzle" anyday.

Hey, i'm proud to say i listen to happy hardcore. It dosent sound cheezy to say (hardcore sounds like it wouldn't be cheezy) and most people dont know what it is. I dont really care what people think of it anyways. Its awsum music and they are missing out!

I know what you mean - I'm not embarrassed by it at all but sometimes I bump into people that used to listen to hardcore years ago but now don't and they always claim to have "grown out of it" or say things like "you're not still listening to that are you?" - its annoying.

Another thing is that a lot of people have classed hardcore as mindless e music made only for nutters to jump around to when f*cked on e - and not as a proper music style at all. That's what annoys me the most. Its not realised that there is a lot of hard work and talent in the hardcore scene.

I've Been into happy hardcore since a young age (8 yrold) and have been proud to say I listen to it and never regretted it.
So what if everyone else likes things the other sheep do.
Being hardcore is saying you are who you are and will not bide by what they say.
Being hardcore means you like what you like and will not fold when pressure starts.
to be a true hedanist you have to say
"I am who I am and I like what I like, You have yours and I'll have mine"

If your embarressed about listening to well made, heartfull music that truly shows a different aspect then you need to stop, rewind and look at who YOU are. It doesn't matter what other people like or want. It's you that matters!
So long as your not arogant about it and still accept other peoples views, be true to yourself and be proud of who you are.

Items, Money, Music, belongings. All these don't make who you are.
Its the company you keep and your attitude to life that makes you.

All in all, don't be embarressed about anything you do in life, specially not music, Do it with pride and stand tall. Be HARDCORE!

Theres this turd at my work that likes clasical music right. When he heard hardcore on the sterio his insant reaction was to start saying he needed E and that his heart couldnt keep up with it! I thought how foolish you are, you dont give it a chance just cause its not what you like! A few others have said the same *uhh I need party pills to listen to it* Anoys the hell outa me coz they only accept whats on the tv and radio. And in the turds case only thinks classical is music, talk about concrete minded and hes only 19.

I do get a little worried when people hear hardcore but doesnt change how I view it.

When I grow up I wana be a D JJJJJJJJJJJJJ!
