here here, u got a point squish, but the thing is, i would rather there be less topics about more meaningful things than vice-versa.
i do miss how things were back in the day, u never saw an arguement unless it was people takin the piss and having a laugh or if there was a proper one, it was rare and never lasted long.
i hope this trend doesn't continue.
p.s. i also am still here in case you hadn't noticed.

I think older members like me have less time just to sit and post like the old days.
When I was @ TAFE, I'd make a promise to myself to makes like 20 posts a day, but now I'm struggling to do 2.

I've only one simple star to my name, yet I can relate to how all of you feel. I used to be a forum regular at other forums, yet I drifted away from them. I came back to one of them once, and was surprised at how frivolous some of the topics were. That and how I knew others wouldn't know of me except for some few, and how I had to go back to newbie status as they had changed forums. But all in all... I try not to be whiney or offensive on forums, I mean, why bother? It doesn't help anybody.... So just sit back and relax, and enjoy. (Yet somehow I feel I don't deserve to be posting a reply right about now...)

i totally agree with you Squishy, i mean i came on here the other day for the first time in about a month, 241 topics, 2 had a point, 1 got a reply... WHATS GOING ON!? I used to spend hours and hours on here just reading. Now i visit for about 10 minutes to check the front page and to see how much crap is in the forum. The site (forum wise) has totally lost it's meaning. It's more of a "i like chocolate, what do you like" and "how many Bonkers 13 topics can i create in one day" site. I think it's because the people on this site like to hear their own voice so much that instead of replying to a topic with their views, they create their own one instead. The rest of them must have some weird sight problem that only sees "www.happy.com" and completely misses the Hardcore!
Only a year ago it was so interesting and i was actually happy that i belonged to such a great community of like-minded people. Now it's made up of one-time posters, and the forums are so clogged with SPAM it's gonna be pretty hard to go back

Honestly man, thanks for postin that. I hear so much stupid stuff from the VETERAN member (you know who you are) that type "This place sux, i miss the old days" BLAH BLAH BLAH.
The thought passed through my mind that MAYBE this place hasnt lost its edge but that the oldies just dont post like they used to as opposed to "OH MAN Ive been here forever and this place sux now!"

hmmmmm i know im not exactly here years either - but i used to love this site and i used to come on here and read posts for hours and i used to log in just b4 going to bed to see was there any interesting posts just b4 i went off! but now i rarely come on here anymore once a week or that, and a big loss to this web site was Sexy Rhi Rhi!!! and i miss all the sarcastic posts Dave murry used to make that pissed me off but yet made me laf my arse off, and i know its good that there are lots of new members and the hardcore scene is increasing but ****s sake some of the new ppl on here really are Tits and thats puttin it mildy - the shit topics that are being posted just really arnt worth the time!! hmmmm....downhill i tell ya!!!
