I've only bin here a few months (hope that dont put me in the newbie tit cat),
I enjoy lookin at the posts, check em everyday b4 i go to work and when i come back.
I like hearing other people's views on a subject i care so much about.
I don't see what peoples problem is really, ive not encounterd a bitchy person since ive bin here,
but its a fact of life people bitch and complain more than they compliment and be nice, its easier to be a nob i think.
I'm here to stay even if no one else is!!!!

i agree with all of that, i check the site bout twice a day too. But the number of posts do seem to be down a bit as of late maybe just that time of year

I'd post sum fun sh*t, but the moderators would probably lock it up. If you ask me, its the moderators who can sometimes take the fun out of this site (nothing against you guys really).

But I can understand what's being said. I've seen it on other communities which I moderate / frequent. When they start up, it's usually just a group of like-minded friends, and they bring their friends along, and generally everyone gets along.
Then the site gets big, people lose interest or have to go away for a long period of time e.t.c. The new people generally don't get along with the old people, be it conflict of interest or even the new person is just a pain in the ass (i've met plenty of people who are only interested in causing trouble).
On some sites converation turns stale because pretty much everything thats fun to talk about has been talked about before, and people tend not to repeat the same old topic again for the old posters to re-discuss. Thus topics are usually left for the new people to respond to.
It's a problem that hits almost every community driven site, sites that don't accept new people die and sites that do accept new people can go in any darn direction.
From my personal experience I've not seen anything too bad on here yet, conversation still seems to be interesting, even if its not exactly positive all the time. But then, I wasn't about in 'the good old days' so don't really have a basis to compare on this particular site.

I have no large irritant here besides self-righteousness expressed onto those who like having fun and takin the piss a bit. These people who believe we are all a bunch of barbie girls in a barbie world and we should all get along, its just frustrating and impractical.
but apart from that I don't know where I'd be without this site. It is my single news source for hardcore and a lot of the older members (strychine, comet,virus etc.) helped me out wen i tried to learn more about the scene.
so ermmm....yeah, happyhardcore.com is kool
....and i blame mole as well as flip n fill for all the above!

i just think its funny that you would say the moderators take the fun out of the site....
1)they usually only lock utter crap topics(so far i haven't seen one locked topic i even slightly considered should be left open)
2)its usually the mods that get in on most of the stuff to begin with(still got to say though the topic bout virus buying his underwear off e-bay was so f**kin funny)
3)you can get away with alot more from these mods because they understand even if other members don't that its all just fun and nothin is usually ment by it...
